On my way driving north to Graton. I was hungry for dinner, so I stopped by to try your beef and lamb gyro. There was a promotion on Uber eats for buy one get one free. Unfortunately the meat was super dry. It was my first time trying it and it wasn't good.
Business response:
Hi ZhiCheng Thanks for the feedback. I will address with the team working that day to correct. Hoping you give us another shot.
Food was good. The dude at the counter at about 8:15 on a Monday night was not nice at all. He did not put fries in the gyro and when I told him he says bring up your food and was just rude. Liked the food but service very bad.
Business response:
Hi Julie Thanks for bringing this to my attention. Often times we ask to show the staff their mistakes so we could avoid issues like this in the future.
This had to have been one of the most sorry disgusting excuses for a gyro I have ever seen. Pita bread was bland and dry. Chicken was dark, dry shavings. And what was supposed to be tzatziki tasted like mayo?!? I also asked for my fries on the side but instead received nothing. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE.
Business response:
Hi Elaine Sorry you had a bad experience with your meal today. A lot of people get confused with the sauce on our chicken gyros as it does come with honey mustard sauce. We also offer an option to sub tzatziki sauce when asked. Again sorry for your bad experience and hope you give us another shot!
There was a hair in my rice. They made me a new plate but it was very unappetizing. And they are begging for a tip with a huge box that says 'what is Pita spelled backwards, A Tip'. For a restaurant you walk up to the counter to order your food, pick up yourself and buss your own table. What am I tipping for?
Got food poisoning twice from this location barf never again will I come back as there are far better places in San Rafael
Got gyro plate...omg was terrible...should have just put it into a blender.... Pile of meat pile of tomato pike of onion I thought a gyro Fries A salad Was a total joke Never buy that shit again
Strangest Chicken Souvlaki I've ever had! Instead of the traditional tzatziki which should go on it, it had a sweet, mustardy sauce. Awful. And they put about 5 French fries INSIDE the pita with it (for "texture" they told me) which of course became soggy. The chicken was fine, but unfortunately, the sweet sauce ruined it. Best thing was the pita bread itself. But is it that difficult to make a simple Chicken Souvlaki?! All in all, a real disappointment, and I will not be back.
Business response:
Hi Sandra. So sorry you had a bad experience today. I don’t know if you knew but you could sub to have the chicken souvlaki pita with Tzatziki! That’s how I prefer to have it as well. Hope you give us another shot.
Old and cold food. (Vintage way Novato)We do not recommend this place. Food was cold and looked as if it is leftover from earlier in the day. Salad had no dressing on it, no sweetener for the tea.
How this place has good reviews is beyond me. This is not what gyros are supposed to taste like. We ordered 2 different gyro meals and the chicken and pork tasted and looked like they were sitting out for hours. EXTREMELY over priced for terrible food. All they did was throw some meat in with veggies on pita bread. The fries tasted like they were frozen and then microwaved. The pita bread was the best part of the whole thing. Save yourself the disappointment and go to the ethnic isle at the supermarket, get yourself some Gr... read more
