I ordered the Gyro Bowl, ingredients stated it came w choice of meat, rice, lettuce, onions, tomatoes, cucumbers, feta cheese, tzatziki, spicy yoghurt paprika and vinaigrette. What I got was mainly rice, 3 1/2 cherry tomato pieces on their way out, 3 1/2 pieces of cucumber, a barely a handful of romaine, a whole bunch of tasty rice and a substantial amount of tasty chicken. One sauce, no feta a couple bits of onion. Really a rice and chicken mix. Not at all a salad as advertised.

We generally love Nick the Greek and I buy takeout from them regularly. Today I was getting off of work and wanted to feed three, 10- year old boys at my home so I bought 3 kids plates. I wondered why the bag was so light, but when I go home I notice the portions were barely enough to feed a 4 year old. I am not sure if it is a new manager or chef but I was shocked to see how little meat and rice was given. And it wasn't super cheap as it was still $30, so I definitely expected more. First of all I love Nic the Greek was so excited to see one in Novato cause I knew I would get fresh yummy food. Well that's what I thought. At least the girl at the counter was very helpful. Helped me figure out what to order when I took my first bite of rice, the salt was so bad I actually puckered when I informed the manager the rice was over salted. Responding to the business owner: we ordered on 8/20/25 at 5:51pm Nick The Greek is on our take out rotation but the quality has gone downhill. We got take out last night and ordered two gyro bowls. My beef/lamb in my bowl looked and tasted like it was boiled and the rice was mushy. My mom got the pork gyro and she mentioned she didn't like the taste of it. I also ordered a side of pita and hummus and it was the best tasting thing. We won't be returning anytime soon.

Nothing is more unsatisfying than when u are super excited to have a gyros n they serve it in a cold, hard and stale pita bread. Please don't do that. It just ruins it when it can be preventable.

On my way driving north to Graton. I was hungry for dinner, so I stopped by to try your beef and lamb gyro. There was a promotion on Uber eats for buy one get one free. Unfortunately the meat was super dry. It was my first time trying it and it wasn't good.

Food was good. The dude at the counter at about 8:15 on a Monday night was not nice at all. He did not put fries in the gyro and when I told him he says bring up your food and was just rude. Liked the food but service very bad.

This had to have been one of the most sorry disgusting excuses for a gyro I have ever seen. Pita bread was bland and dry. Chicken was dark, dry shavings. And what was supposed to be tzatziki tasted like mayo?!? I also asked for my fries on the side but instead received nothing. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE.

Hi Elaine Sorry you had a bad experience with your meal today. A lot of people get confused with the sauce on our chicken gyros as it does come with honey mustard sauce. We also offer an option to sub tzatziki sauce when asked. Again sorry for your bad experience and hope you give us another shot!
