It wasn't their grand opening yet but thank you for opening earlier!! Your Lamb gyro literally melted in my mouth. It will be now my go to restaurant!!! The manager was great, staff very friendly and the food was outstanding. Had the Lamb gyro along with nicks fries feta, garlic, spicy yogurt, choice of protein topped with green onions. My advice... skip chipotle next door and go to Nick the Greek!!

Got the lamb/beef gyro. There was a good amount of meat but it was rather thinly sliced. The seasoning was ok. The sauce was ok. It would have been nice to see a couple of tomatoes on it and some parsley. There were cold fries put on top which was terrible. They can't make fresh hot fries for a $12 sandwich? The side salad was good. Overall it was like food court food. I didn't realize this was a chain. I won't be back.

Great new place, clean organize and amazing staff. Walked up and it was busy but I was in and out with my food supper quickly. Someone even walked me through the menu and gave great recommendations. FINALLY SOME GREAT GREEK FOOD!!!!

Great food at a good price and super friendly service. I was not expecting 6 small falafels but was stoked about it. The pita was super fresh and toasty

FINALLY!! Finally we have an amazing alternative to hamburgers and burritos here in Novato! I wandered in and was greeted by friendly staff. I was amazed to hear that I had come in on only their second day of a "soft" opening as the service was quick and the food delicious. Clear menus, affordable prices, easy access off of 101, and some great looking desserts. I will definitely be back. Thank you Nick The Greek for an incredible new dining option!

First of all I love Nic the Greek was so excited to see one in Novato cause I knew I would get fresh yummy food. Well that's what I thought. At least the girl at the counter was very helpful. Helped me figure out what to order when I took my first bite of rice, the salt was so bad I actually puckered when I informed the manager the rice was over salted. He said OK that happens sometimes maybe they didn't stir it enough so I ordered fries to which I was charged $4.50. My fries were cold and stale so bummed because I love eati... read more

Responding to the business owner: we ordered on 8/20/25 at 5:51pm Nick The Greek is on our take out rotation but the quality has gone downhill. We got take out last night and ordered two gyro bowls. My beef/lamb in my bowl looked and tasted like it was boiled and the rice was mushy. My mom got the pork gyro and she mentioned she didn't like the taste of it. I also ordered a side of pita and hummus and it was the best tasting thing. We won't be returning anytime soon.
