Old and cold food. (Vintage way Novato)We do not recommend this place. Food was cold and looked as if it is leftover from earlier in the day. Salad had no dressing on it, no sweetener for the tea.

How this place has good reviews is beyond me. This is not what gyros are supposed to taste like. We ordered 2 different gyro meals and the chicken and pork tasted and looked like they were sitting out for hours. EXTREMELY over priced for terrible food. All they did was throw some meat in with veggies on pita bread. The fries tasted like they were frozen and then microwaved. The pita bread was the best part of the whole thing. Save yourself the disappointment and go to the ethnic isle at the supermarket, get yourself some Gr... read more

I love Greek food and was really excited to give this place a try. I wanted to like it. The north bay has a serious lack of gyros shops. Tried the gyros, falafel, and Greek salad. The gyros tasted like dog meat. The flavor of the falafel was off putting. I was not able to eat either. The salad was just plain not good. The french fries were soggy, like they had been boiled rather than fried. When considering your next meal, this place is a hard NO.

People who give this place a 5 star rating have probably never had really good Greek food. The quality is really lacking. First off the beef/lamb is some kind of blended processed meat. It lacks the flavor, spices, and texture of the real stuff. One of us had a plate meal, added hummus, which was about a tablespoon stuck on the side of the to go box. Everything was jammed in there, piled on top of soggy fries. BTW, fries do not belong in a gyros. Cost was over $40 for two meals, way overpriced for mediocre quality. Marin cou... read more

The lamb was hard & dry. Would NOT recommend. The Nick the Greek fries were soggy & missing something.

Normally I love the food at Nick the Greek. The gyros are delicious. However, last night (Nov1st), I was disappointed with the gyro. The meat seemed off and there was very little Tzatziki sauce. I'm hoping this is a one-off occurrence. I do plan to go back as the gyros have been so good in the past. The service is always great.

I wanted to love this restaurant. Greek food is one of my 2 favourite cuisines. Unfortunately this is plain ol American food with a hint of Greek. Greek food is so flavourful and there was none of the robust flavours in what we ordered and i ordered from them twice just to make sure the chef was not having a bad day. The tzatziki sauce was bland. no garlic, no salt, nothing. tasted like plain yogurt. The pork souvlaki though reasonable tender had none of the impactful Greek flavour. i really hope this restaurant stops dumbin... read more

Man this shit is good. I'm stuffed and want more. I not a tomato guy but they were fresh and not all soggy. The meat wasn't greasy this time. Pita slaps. Only thing is I wish they had dressing for the salad. But maybe that's how it's supposed to be. Def worth it. Coming back for sure. Btw I got the gyro plate with double meat and extra pita.

I would honestly give this a 1 star if the people weren't so nice. This was waaayyy over priced for very mediocre salty gyro. I ordered the gray with the beef/lamb meat. It only come with meat, onions, 1 slice unripe tomorrow and then not enough bland "spicy" tzatziki sauce. I could even finish it. I got the bare minimum for $15... if you wanted to add anything green, such as lettuce, it'd cost you .50c each addition on top of that $15... Great friendly people but noooo go on the gyro. Go to Happy Gyros in Goodmans parking... read more
