I'm so frustrated with this place. When they first opened they were slow but the food was AMAZING and we figured they'd figure things out. And then the food quality started dropping but it was still good. But the meat was lower quality and we started getting more things cold, like they pre make a lot of skewers and let them sit. I guess it was fine when they were busy because by definition everything was fresh but not now... even though they're still slow. Today's order they gave us something random for one person's mea... read more
Food was basic , and minimal on taste . They were extremely busy & there was not many seating options. The setting is generally loud with several different families. I wish they could portion their sizing a little bit better.
Meh. I was so anxious for this place to open, as we don't have nearly enough Greek restaurants in the North Bay. It is such a disappointment!! The food is just bland and unremarkable. The dine-in experience is very unpleasant. I have eaten there a couple of times and won't be back.
Ordered two sandwiches and the meal deal with the Greek fries. There is a great amount of meat in the sandwiches. Meat is flavorful but wasn't really broiled like traditional vertical broiled meat. Was flavorful but lacking the caramelized bits. As well, the fried were cold and tasted like they had sat around for a while. Shame as they appear to be homemade. The Greek fries were a let down as were the fries in the pitas as they added nothing but cold, soft bland volume. Nicks service was super fast and cashier was pleasan... read more
I really wanted to like this place, as it is the only "Greek" restaurant in Marin, but every experience with the food has been horrible. The people who work there are pleasant and gracious, but the food is flavorless, tasteless, definitely not Greek. Honey mustard dressing on a chicken gyro? Did McDonald's come up with a Greek concept restaurant and didn't tell anyone? Not good is an understatement. Very disappointing.
I didn't find the taste of anything there to be halfway authentic. The food is junk to me.
The restaurant smelled weird and the food was not great. I didn't eat much of it.
Not impressed at all. I would describe it as glorified fast food. I'm rounding up to 2 stars to be generous. I would give it 1.5 stars if that was available. The gyro meat (chicken) tastes like food scraps. Meat that doesn't pass the quality of better restaurants. It's a little better than the cheapest fast food restaurants but not by much. The rice is decent quality but the flavors are off for my liking. The prices seem high for the quality too. I can think of several higher end sit down restaurants that offer ... read more
I've been here 3 times and ordered out twice both times forgot my sauce on the side when it says on the side and this time the fries were cold and tasted like they've been sitting for hours. Very disappointing.
