Normally I love the food at Nick the Greek. The gyros are delicious. However, last night (Nov1st), I was disappointed with the gyro. The meat seemed off and there was very little Tzatziki sauce. I'm hoping this is a one-off occurrence. I do plan to go back as the gyros have been so good in the past. The service is always great.

I wanted to love this restaurant. Greek food is one of my 2 favourite cuisines. Unfortunately this is plain ol American food with a hint of Greek. Greek food is so flavourful and there was none of the robust flavours in what we ordered and i ordered from them twice just to make sure the chef was not having a bad day. The tzatziki sauce was bland. no garlic, no salt, nothing. tasted like plain yogurt. Man this shit is good. I'm stuffed and want more. I not a tomato guy but they were fresh and not all soggy. The meat wasn't greasy this time. Pita slaps. Only thing is I wish they had dressing for the salad. But maybe that's how it's supposed to be. Def worth it. Coming back for sure. Btw I got the gyro plate with double meat and extra pita.

I would honestly give this a 1 star if the people weren't so nice. This was waaayyy over priced for very mediocre salty gyro. I ordered the gray with the beef/lamb meat. It only come with meat, onions, 1 slice unripe tomorrow and then not enough bland "spicy" tzatziki sauce. I could even finish it. I got the bare minimum for $15... if you wanted to add anything green, such as lettuce, it'd cost you .50c each addition on top of that $15... Great friendly people but noooo go on the gyro. First time here today. It was just meh. My beef gyro was so not put together well. Beef was not hot, one tomato and maybe one drop of tzatziki sauce. ANNND the fries were so bad, cold and felt like they had been sitting for hours. Super disappointed and not sure if I'll try it again.

Not impressed with the food. Was expecting more. The meat didn't have much flavor and the Greek salad was horrible.

I'm so frustrated with this place. When they first opened they were slow but the food was AMAZING and we figured they'd figure things out. And then the food quality started dropping but it was still good. But the meat was lower quality and we started getting more things cold, like they pre make a lot of skewers and let them sit. I guess it was fine when they were busy because by definition everything was fresh but not now... even though they're still slow. Food was basic , and minimal on taste . They were extremely busy & there was not many seating options. The setting is generally loud with several different families. I wish they could portion their sizing a little bit better.

Meh. I was so anxious for this place to open, as we don't have nearly enough Greek restaurants in the North Bay. It is such a disappointment!! The food is just bland and unremarkable. The dine-in experience is very unpleasant. I have eaten there a couple of times and won't be back.
