The food is incredible. No matter what you order you will love it. Stay for the dessert as well.
For a chain, this is really good! Whenever we are craving a Greek bowl, this hits the spot. Love the chicken gyro and rice here. Service is friendly and the place is clean every time we go. Will continue to go here.

After a year of eating at various Nick's around the Bay Area, I've decided to upgrade from 3 to 5 stars for the chain overall, and specifically for the Novato location at Vintage Oaks. First the food is really as good as any greek cafe I've been to, and I adore the lamb/beef gyro which i suggest you order with the fries on the side - my preference anyway. The food was great! For a quick on the go spot, this is a great place! Love their gyros and their Greek fries, which we've had twice now and no complaints. Not the best for a sit down meal, it's more just for a quick bite. Inside it's pretty busy, small, and the tables face the aisle which has a lot of traffic going in and out. I will definitely come back if in the area!

I can't believe I haven't written a review of Nick The Greek yet. My family and I are regular customers since they opened. I usually get the bowl with one of their meat options or the falafel. Occasionally I'll order the beef/lamb gyro which is filled with meat. They put fries inside but I prefer to leave them out and just get a side of fries.
