THE STORY The idea was born in 2012 after visiting the birth place of the gyro, Greece, on the founders annual trip to their hometown village. Falafel was good, 7.5 out of 10. So was the baklava. The fries were poorly executed. I got the plater and a wrap, and they forgot to put my wrap in the to-go order. It was not busy. The platter needs more sauces, kinda dry all around.

A follow up to my last review: The Business Owner responded privately to me in the most professional way. I am confident had he been on site that day, our experience would have been totally fine. We will be returning in a few weeks to give it another go. Hopefully by then the whole team will have settled into more of a rhythm.
My husband and I went here yesterday to grab lunch and I disappointed myself by getting the Kid's Plate because I never tried Greek/Mediterranean dishes before and this was mainly for my daughter and I to share. Well...my husband sweetly made me take a bite of his gyro sandwich and it tasted so dang better. Besides me not ordering correctly, just one minuscule bummed thing that happened. the place was pretty quiet and clean. the gyro meat was very good, could have used some lemon, i had the gyro salad which was green spinach gyro meat and pita chips. the food was not timely, the pita was burnt, the number caller could barely be understood.
I was really looking forward to getting a fast Mediterranean food spot in town! I ordered the falafel bowl, because I wanted to check out the portioning. I had high hopes, but the stars of the dish -the falafels- were lackluster. A little hard, cold, and dry. It was a bummer. The rest of the ingredients were fine, and hard to mess up. Will likely try one of the meat options in the future...will wait til the line and hype die down.
I was very happy trying this place for lunch today! I forgot to take pictures, but my food looked exactly like what I ordered online! It was ready by the time they told me it would be. I got the beef/lamb gyro bowl. It was delicious!! Just enough sauce! I also ordered the hummus and pita bread and oh my gosh it was so yummy! I intended on sharing but I didn't want to! The food is excellent, came out quick during lunch rush, nice location. Clean tables and comfortable dining room. Gyro plate with beef/lamb was delicious and the portions exceeded my expectations. Pleasing!
Do NOT let the line or supposed wait detur you from eating here!! The wait wasn't as bad as they anticipated and the food is completely worth it!!! Greek Salad: Red onions, klamato olives, green peppers, tomato and a nice chunk of feta cheese. All beautifully marinated and still crisp and fresh. Sorry... Not a fan. When I saw the sign announcing the new restaurant in Reno, I was anxious to try it. I love Greek/Mediterranean food and was relishing the thought to have a "new" option to get some Gyros or Falafel. I was disappointed to see that the establishment is nothing but a fast casual food franchise. I prefer a family business; one that takes care and pride in the food they serve.
