I like Mediterranean food, so I've had Nick the Greek on my radar since it opened. Last night's initial visit was a let down. Arrived around 6:00 pm on Saturday night. The restaurant was deserted except for 1 table. We ordered from the counter a traditional lamb/beef gyro, a chicken gyro & a Greek side salad. Our food arrived at our table about 7 minutes later. The food here is amazing! A friendly staff awaits your decision and can help guide you through the menu. I must recommend the Beef gyro and the fires. Both so tasty. To finish I have to recommend the honey and baklava topped frozen yogurt. Definitely great. The place is nice and clean and ready to be your favorite Greek spot!
First time at Nick The Greek and I was not disappointed. Nicks fries were so good! I got the lamb gyro wrap combo! I will definitely be back!
Delicious food ! Yummy desserts. Lots of options. Good for meat loves and vegetarians. If you eat in they have alcohol options too!
This place is a typical Greek place nothing fancy, but really good. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, especially on a Fourth of July.
Let me start by saying the staff here is super friendly and very helpful. The food on the other hand was just OK. We all had the Gyros. Beef/lamb and one Chicken. The meat itself lacked flavor and tastes exactly like you would expect from a chain trying to appeal to everyone. The Gyros had waaay too much sauce in them which made them terribly messy. Super good food, DEFINITELY recommend the chicken gyros. Service was good, had a great conversation with one of the employees that was at the cashier.
Not a lot of Greek food options in town, but I'm so glad one of three options is Nick the Greek. Great food. I've had the Greek salad, the gyro, and the gyro plate. All fantastic. Service has been good, and the restaurant itself is always clean.
5/24/2024- I've been to one in Elk Grove, Ca... and wanted to give this location a try.. Parked in front and walked in just after 11:00.. No customers yet, but when I was leaving the to go orders started coming in.. Went with the lamb/beef bowls.. and the garlic fries.. Generous portions on the meat and even amount of rice.. All in all a decent and a bit high for lunch $44 I'd pass on the fries if you're taking them home Ended up being soggy.. Glad to stop in..
