THE STORY The idea was born in 2012 after visiting the birth place of the gyro, Greece, on the founders annual trip to their hometown village. Wondering why there were no decent gyros or souvlakia in California, we decided to form our own modern souvlaki/gyro house. The three cousins Nick, Nick and Nick, returned home to open what else? An easy 5 stars!! Tried the chicken bowl and the chicken pita. Might not be the MOST authentic you can find but everything tasted fresh and the service was fast so it is perfect for lunch rush. There aren't many options like this in town and super happy we have this in Reno now! I read few reviews the meat was dry but we didn't have that problem. Ours was yummyyy especially with the extra sauces. Sauce line up: taziki, spicy yogurt and honey mustard is chefs kiss

Stopped by for a quick bite on a mid afternoon! The inside is clean and nicely renovated from the prior Baja Fresh (I believe..). I was the only one in line and the cashier promptly took my order and after a quick 5 minute wait my food was ready. I ordered the lamb/beef gyro. All together it was a decent gyro but nothing outstanding. The meat was well seasoned and had a nice flavor and the French fries inside were a fun touch. I will definitely come back for a quick grab and go when I'm in the area.

The gyros are huge and super delicious. I'll definitely get it again. I ordered through Postmates so I can't review the inside of the restaurant or the customer service.

I stopped in for lunch after working up an appetite Christmas shopping, glad to have some Greek 'fast food' nearby now. The restaurant is nice and open with lots of windows. I ordered the veggie pita and Nicks Fries (chicken) both were very flavorful, and the serving of fries massive. They have a soda machine plus beer and wine to choose from. Looking forward to going back to try the falafel and souvlaki next.

We were in the area and hungry so we thought we'd stop by and give this place a try! The inside was big, lots of tables and chairs! The staff was quiet but got the job done. I got the lamb bowl and my fiance got the lamb gyro. I loved the bowl! The prices are a little expensive but the portions make sense. My bowl had so much in it and the flavor was delicious. For a fast food chain restaurant. This seems pretty good. Service was pretty good and the food. Very tasty. I like Greek food and again for a fast food place it's pretty good
Came to Nick The Greek during lunch, it was a little busy and a bit of the wait but not too bad. Service is good, everyone is friendly. Got the Nick Fries with the beef/lamb meat. The portion is large, easily fill you up for lunch. The dish is dry, could use some sort of sauce, they did put a spicy yogurt but it was not nearly enough. Would come back again to try something different.
Really tasty gyros! Really good portion. Great seasoned fries. The service was great. Place was clean. Only complaint would be there was too much taziki sauce. Half as much would have been perfect. Will absolutely go again.
