Great service , great food , luv the hours and gyros are top notch but really the people make the place . Is my go to when back in town
Food is always fresh and delicious. Service is great. My favorite lunch place in town! I highly recommend!
Wandered into this place after deciding we were hungry during our time in the area. The inside was well kept and had restrooms available for use. The menus is clearly displayed and has quite a few options. The portions were decent but the quality of the food for the price was underwhelming. The chicken pita was quite tasty but I wasn't a fan fan of the mustard like sauce that came with it. I was expecting the traditional tzatziki sauce. The bowl had a little more flavor and the sauce I wanted. One of the workers was vacu... read more
Gyro salads! Hubby got lamb. I got the chicken. Good amount of protein with green leafies! Love arugula and the lightly sweetened dressing. Grilled slices of pita bread along the sides of the salad. Quick and healthy lunch! FIFA playing indoors on TV but can also hear the play by play on outdoor speakers on front patio. $5 beer to go along with Hubby's lunch! This place is pretty close to Petco. I can see this place getting busy whenever there are events at the stadium.
It was a busy night after a Padres game and we decided to try this place out. We were first greeted by the owner and he offered us a "$5 beer to ease the pain" of a Padres loss and it did ease the pain It was our first time there and we weren't sure what to get. Eventually, I chose the chicken bowl with tzatziki and my husband got a burger recommended by the owner. I was really surprised about the size/ amount of food we got for the price. The rice and everything in the bowl was really good and my husband really enjoyed the... read more
Literally the best thing in downtown. Quality ingredients and authentic taste. I love it so much Ive been getting it daily. . I'd give 100 stars if I could.
Would have been 5 for the food but I ordered online and went to pick it up and the girl said she never received my order, I showed her on my phone the receipt and what I ordered and she said she wouldn't do it unless it came thru on their end so after waiting and I went ahead and ordered in restaurant and she promised that if it came through later she would cancel it but... she did not cancel it and let it charge me for a meal I didn't receive. Pretty bogus. Won't be going back super disappointed because after just a few v... read more
I've ordered takeout from Nick the Greek a few times before and the plates were always good, so I felt comfortable ordering again. Unfortunately, my most recent experience was more than disappointing. I ordered a chicken gyro and it was cold when I received it, and the meat was very chewy. Fries, stale...To make matters worse, I felt sick shortly after eating it. It's really disappointing because I've had good experiences in the past, but based on this last order, I don't think I'll be returning.
I ordered my food using a delivery service, so I can't speak as to customer service or the ambiance of the restaurant. I was in the mood for falafel, so I ordered a Mediterranean Bowl with falafel. When the food arrived, it looked amazing and I was excited to dig in, unfortunately, my first bite is where the excitement ended. The falafel was terribly dry, so dry that if I picked one up and squeezed it in my hand, it would've crumbled into dust. The rest of the bowl was edible, not good or bad, just average. This was a disa... read more
