Delicious food, one of the best mediterranean places I've tried in a while! Super nice people too! We drove all the way from Sacramento and we're super hungry but arrived right as they were closing. They ended up giving us free food that someone never came to pick up! Made our night, thanks for feeding us Nick the Greek!
We ordered the beef and lamp gyro pita ! They packed it in with meat! They don't hold back! Totally worth the money! The soup (avgolemono) was delicious! Nick Fries was off the hook, and gyro plate! Along with great food there's great customer service, they go hand in hand ! Very clean and fresh inside especially during hot days! Thank you Emmanuel and cooks for great food and service!
Not as good as we had hoped. The fries were soggy, I wish they were made to order. The meat was fine, the pork was our favorite, all seemed a bit dry. The salads were OK, though also not as fresh as they could have been. Hoping they work out the kinks and do better with time.
This California-based Greek restaurant chain has made its way south to downtown SD on the ground floor of the DiamondView Tower in East Village. Judging from the number of people who were ordering take-out during my visit, the business seemed to be doing well. WOW. Just ordered this from doordash and it is tasty! I had the gyro bowl with lamb and it was super authentic and delicious. Will definitely be ordering from here again soon!

Great find for food and drink before Padres game! Excellent Greek food at reasonable price with quick service. $5 drafts pregame with craft beer. We will definitely be coming back anytime we see a game at Petco!
Nick the Greek is located right next to Petco Park on J street serving up some up the best Gyros in the Downtown area with $5 dollar draft beers all day long! When I saw this place as a hot and new business on my Yelp feed I just knew I had to come over and see what all they hype was! Great first impression! Had a bowl w/chicken, good portion solid Greek food influence, big portion and great value. Had Greek yogurt with honey and Baklava. Wow!! Friendly staff, food was delivered on our table hot and plenty of sauce and quickly!
