When so many places downtown are raising prices, its especially hard to find quality and value at lunch. Nick The Greek delivers quality and value along with a pleasant atmosphere and good service. Pork Souvlaki Pita Combo $13.95. Lots of food. Tasty pork, good fries, salad, pita bread, etc. Chicken bowl with rice. $11.50. tasty vertical rotisserie chicken. Pizza Port Beer, Swami's, $5 Glad Nick decided to come to downtown (East Village near ballpark).
Excellent customer service. Great amount of food for your money. I really enjoyed the vibes. It's right by the stadium. Eat here before or after the game. Service is also quick. Will be back

Saw this place pop up on DoorDash and decided to give it a try. I got the pork belly gyro and a side of fries. The meat in the gyro was so flavorful and tender. I have been on the hunt for perfect gyro in SD and I think I finally found it. The fries inside of my gyro were perfectly cooked but the fries I got in the side were too well done for my liking. This place was amazing, we received our food fast, everyone was very friendly, the manager made sure that we had an amazing experience and we did. The food was beyond satisfactory. I will definitely be dining here again
I ordered the Chicken Bowl. Everything was fresh and cooked great. One of the best things I've ever eaten. I swear.
Nick the Greek has landed in San Diego. Not just in San Diego, but a black away from Petco Park. I stopped in for lunch and had the Gyro Salad but with chicken Souvlaki on a skewer instead for $9.95. The salad only comes with spinach and arugula and a dressing. After receiving the salad, I asked for a side of sliced onions and tomatoes, and that did the trick: not only adding nice color to the, but texture and flavor as well. What a welcome addition to the East Village! I wasn't really in the mood for greek but decided to give the new place a try. I picked up the Chicken Gyro Pita, and was I surprised! It was so so good that I wish I ordered more! The chicken was great, they stuff fries into the pita as well as some vegetables and a mustard sauce which is easily one of my new favorite sauces!
