Nick the Greek has landed in San Diego. Not just in San Diego, but a black away from Petco Park. I stopped in for lunch and had the Gyro Salad but with chicken Souvlaki on a skewer instead for $9.95. The salad only comes with spinach and arugula and a dressing. After receiving the salad, I asked for a side of sliced onions and tomatoes, and that did the trick: not only adding nice color to the, but texture and flavor as well. What a welcome addition to the East Village! I wasn't really in the mood for greek but decided to give the new place a try. I picked up the Chicken Gyro Pita, and was I surprised! It was so so good that I wish I ordered more! The chicken was great, they stuff fries into the pita as well as some vegetables and a mustard sauce which is easily one of my new favorite sauces! This is probably going to be my new favorite Greek spot for lunch. The service was great, except I totally forgot to put utensils in my to-go order so it was hard scrambling to find some. I've tried the gyro bowl and everything was fresh and delicious. I am also super picky about my falafel because I've had original falafel overseas which is hard to beat but...their falafel is the best in San Diego hands down! New spot right next to Copa Vida. Good basic Greek fast food. Grab a gyro & grab a beer. Everything tastes fresh. Hoping they maintain their quality over time... Congrats on your grand opening!

Went on opening day and every staff member had a smile on their face even though the line was down the block! It was incredibly busy but they were quick and the food was so good! Highly recommend the Greek fries.
