First stop when I landed in San Diego. Ordered the lamb gyro with fries. It was AMAZING . They gave alot of meat and all the vegetables tasted so fresh. The fries were good as well.
I've always been a fan of this chain, and you get a good amount of food for the price. There aren't many Greek places I go to eat, but I'd definitely recommend this one. I'm not sure how authentic it is but the food comes out fresh and well seasoned.
Fast and fresh Greek food! Service was super friendly. Had Gyros and salad bowl for lunch with some amazing baklava to top it off.
Located downtown, parking is tough. Ordered: The nicks fries with meat was really good, highly recommend. The gyro pita sandwich with beef/lamb was just okay, wasn't a fan of the flavor/sauce. The pork belly gyro had very lean meat, not so much fatty belly. The flavor was very herby. Didn't really like either sandwich. Cashier was incredibly nice. They also have outdoor seating. COVID - staff do not wear masks. Check out their Instagram, they offer discounts on certain items sometimes when ordering via their website.
I've been impressed everytime so far. Great, fast healthy choices for salads and bowls. Always fresh veggies and always high quality ingredients. The meat has always been flavorful and cooked right. Really enjoy this place and hope it stays around.
I'm not sure who was working November 19th at 2:53 pm but that was the best gyro I've ever had from Nick the Greek!!! I've ordered fro here a lot but that was out of this world delicious and reminded me of the Greek restaurant in my hometown.
This is by far my favorite Greek place in San Diego! I come here every week to get the Greek salad w gyro meat! Will & Brandon are always top notch and so kind - stop reading reviews online and just go
This place makes me feel like home. From the friendly and service centric owner who rolls up his sleeves to take care of you, to his friendly staff that takes their time to get your order right and also to learn your name. Will and team just does it perfectly every time and all the time when I come in to eat. Love this place! Food is delicious and they give you huge portions. It is really reasonably priced. Draft beers are $5 too. The gyro bowl and nick's fries are amazing. Falafel is good and the greek frozen yogurt with honey is delicious! Highly recommend for a quick meal on a budget.
