I'm only giving a three star because The restaurant failed to put in the tzatziki sauce that I ordered with a meal. Unfortunately I see this quite often where the details are somehow lost in the order. I will say the food was very good. I would suggest to the restaurant that they provide more than a tablespoon of tzatziki sauce for a whole meal, it's just not enough. Charging 50 Cents for a tablespoon is a little pricey. Great place to grab a quick bite to eat for lunch. Walked over here from the convention center, and glad I did. Ordered the chicken gyro bowl which was massive. I couldn't finish it. My colleague ordered the chicken plate which he said was delicious. Portion was also very large, especially since it came with a side. We also got a side salad with our order, which I didn't notice on the menu. Not sure which item it came with.
I thought the food was average at best. The pita was good but the meat was just the average salty (and kind of dry) stereotypical gyro meat. The garlic fries were a bit overpowering too
Best Greek food in SD!! Food is amazing I always get the souvlaki plate with chicken and it never disappoints. Price is fair for the amount of food you get and just how freaking good it is! We usually order food through door dash but went in tonight and I felt inclined to write a review because of not only the food quality but also service. We went downtown for Monster Jam and every restaurant we tried had an hour wait. We tried Nick the Greek and they apologized for not having the food out in their usual 10 minutes...our large group only had to wait 20 minutes and the food was amazing! Not to mention $5 craft beers on tap. The owner even made us free Greek donuts to try out and they were mouth watering delicious. I highly recommend this place!
This is by far, the best tasting Greek food I have tried! The staff is very friendly and respectful. The cook was very nice and man, can he cook! Thanks guys for the hospitality.
