I was looking for a quick lunch in east village and found the great reviews on yelp. I had a Gyro plate, which was really good. I enjoyed the flavor of the lamb shawarma and there was more than enough food. The cold beer was definitely an added bonus.
Surprising good food very close to Petco Park. Visited on a Saturday night; while other restaurants nearby were mobbed, Nick The Greek had tables available and no wait. Really good food and reasonably priced. $5.00 draft was super! We will be back.
Solid. If you want a Mediterranean fix this will do the job. Even though it's a chain doesn't have a manufactured taste.
I don't live too far from this place so decided to walk there and try it out. Upon entering I was nicely greeted by the cashier. I ordered the lamb plate with rice. You get a nice size portion of food and it was very delish. I'll definitely be back!
Pretty good food. I got the soup which was delicious. My friends got various bowls which were good too. Huge portions. We didn't end up finishing quite a bit of the stuff we got. It's definitely not upscale but a nice place to sit and chat while enjoying good food.
Wife and I stopped in after a Padres game. First off, $5 beers. You can't beat that. We got a Chicken Gyro combo with a salad. Both were extremely tasty. The chicken was very moist and the sauce had a lot of flavor. The salad had just the right amount of feta cheese and the dressing had a lot of flavor.
I gotta come back. Near the Padres stadium. I had soup which was a-ok. I want gyros but I already ate pizza. Music, NBA playoffs on the TV, Seating for about 28 inside and a few outside.
My first time here but definitely not my last. Had the chicken souvlaki bowl which was fantastic. Great flavor and healthy, which is important to me. I did see an amazing burger and fries come out though, so I'll try that next time for sure. They're right around the corner from Fit Athletic Club, which makes it a perfect post workout spot.
Yummy gyro meat, had bowls, a platter and gyro fries. Went two days in a row while at Padres games. Great gyro meat reminiscent of Chicago. Extremely courteous staff and a menu with a wide variety. A must stop.
