Greek food? In San Diego? Next to a baseball stadium? Why not. Nick the Greek is exactly what you expect from a tiny chain lookin spot in the downtown area AND the prices compliment it by making it competitive to a lot of its neighbors. A great spot to check out before a Padres game if you want to grab food to go or eat there before the game. They've also got two screens inside if you just want to watch the game there as well. I got the gyro salad which I was happy they had greens as an option, but I'd suggest that you ask for the dressing on the side because my salad was drenched with too much balsamic.

Nick the Greek's is now my staple on weekends when I just need a hearty meal that's budget friendly & delicious. Their bowl sizes are a good size & it is enough for one hungry person! Tip: They offer 10% discount if you wear padres gear! Just mention it at the counter since they may forget to automatically add it in. Vegetarian options - falafels!

The food was good expected a bit more out of it. Lamb was a bit too over salted for my taste and rice a little dry. Their lemon soup is delicious I would recommend that. Maybe next time I'll try their chicken and it will be a different better experience.

Another winning Nick order. I had not eaten here in almost a year. Every once in a while I fire up Door Dash, and I remembered having a great experience here before. The seasoning was on point. Everything I tasted was soooo good. The falafel was a little stale, but flavored really well. I tried their burger, ahmazing! Nick fries were bomb diggity! Greek Salad was yummers. Amazing portions. small complaint that there was not enough garlic sauce along with the food. The meat was tender, the food was plentiful, and the rice was flavorful. Reasonable prices. Would highly recommend.

Place was delicious the Gyros were HUGE, the fries are amazing too. Went early on a Saturday and there was no wait to get seated. Probably one of the cleanest restaurants I've been in a very long time. Would highly recommend.

Tried this place, but it was really too salty otherwise it would have been delicious.. tried the pork belly gyro and tge chicken bowl. I hitch I liked that there wasn't too much rice and that it had salad and veggies... the chicken was also a bit dry but the pork souvlaki was not dry it was good.. would really like it if it was just a little less salty but otherwise the flavors are great!
