I first found out about this place on Instagram and was really craving some Greek food! (I swear my stories/feed these days can just predict what I want to eat) I actually ordered here twice last month via DoorDash and I have no regrets! LOL. The first order, I ordered some hummus and a gyro bowl. The bread is super soft and always comes to you warm. Hummus is amazing but really wish they had more different flavors! Gyro bowl is HUGE. Actually, all the plates here are fairly huge so I honestly think it's worth the price. I ... read more

We have been waiting for NTG to arrive since we saw the signs go up in The Village! After the initial craziness of opening, they are running things so smoothly! Food is hot and fresh as you would expect! We love everything we have gotten... bowls, salads, falafel, gyros, fries...you can't go wrong!

They are so nice and delicious food. They are very accommodating to our special requests. Recommend ordering straight through them and picking up to go is the easiest not delivery through any delivery service. Super friendly staff too! Visiting home this is my favorite now!

first time here..love falaffel ....here is my candid eval....showed up ordered and 2 falafel pitas came out pretty quick. A bit pricey.....$25 for 2. Falafel was tasty but warm/cold. Clearly they do not make them fresh on the spot like many places. the likely make them at the beginning of the day, then nuke them when they need them. Kid of ruined the expectation experience having warm/cool falafel balls. In short, glad I went, but will not be returning. Hey if you are a "Greek" restaurant, you need to nail this stuff....n... read more

I was craving for a gyro. Nick the Greek has several store fronts nearby. So it was dinner time and off I went. This location is a large shopping center, Castro Valley Village. It is a well lit store front. I walked and a counter person greeted me. I ordered a lamb beef gyro and a fountain drink. A combo option was offered but declined. The food was served rather quickly, as soon as I filled my fountain drink, my gyro was ready. It was wrapped and quite presentable. After a few bites, I wished it wasn't so salty at the same ... read more

I always crave this! I try to switch it up every order & so far I've tried the chicken plate, greek salad with chicken, & chicken souvlaki plate! I loved all of them but I think my favorite was the souvlaki plate. I think the Greek salad needed more flavor so I'll order sauce whenever I get it next. Personally, I can't finish their portions in one go, it's a lot of food. Their baklava is also great. Honestly it can be pricy, yet worth every dollar. I'm going to try Nick's fries when I come back, or another choice of meat. Th... read more

It was very tasty and filling. We tried the chicken souvlaki pita, the beef/lamb gyro bowl and the chicken gyro pita. Everything was pretty tasty, the bowl was super satisfying and delicious. The chicken gyro was ok, I preferred the chicken souvlaki more as the chicken was grilled and it had a nice smoky taste to it. The greek fries.... where have you been in my life????? The green onions, the feta, and garlic. The kids and I had to fight for them. Definitely need to come back and try other items or just stick with the chi... read more

Had high hopes about this place given the limited choices in town. Tried the Chicken Souvlaki Plate and found it to be lacking flavor. It just had a chain restaurant vibe. My son tried a gyro and liked it so I might give it another shot.
