I just discovered Nick the Greek In one week, I ate there three times!! They recognized me on my third trip! I'm officially 'a regular' Food is fresh and delicious! Also very clean. You won't be sorry
Agree with another yelper, it is in fact very inviting and calm with white decor but the food is just ok. -Greek salad with added protein of beef: the dressing lacked flavor, tasted like straight oil. Was also really small portion for the price. -kids plate: my sons kids plate felt like it was the most value. -falafel bowl was decent. -beef gyro was also decent. Service was fine. On my ok list.
Greek fries are amazing!! I want to try the falafel next. And of course but some baklava!
Passed by this place many times in the plaza, and finally tried it out yesterday. I don't like my meat too dried, unless it's jerky of course the beef and lamb for both of our gyros we're just right the fries were so fresh. Around $12 for the gyro and additional $4.50 to add the fries and a drink. It took less than 10 minutes for our order to be ready, which was great... really enjoyed our dine-in experience yesterday.
The place is very inviting and calming and I think it's that blue colour, very soothing. They don't have much variety as they have the usual Greek-American staples like souvlaki, gyros, and some plates, there's a vegetarian option. But the tzatziki sauce is very strong and more on the thinner side, very creamy. It passes in my books for the flavour. I got the chicken souvlaki and it's given with the side choice of fries or rice. I opted for the fries and they were okay, barely any seasoning, I tasted hot oil and some ski... read more
Attempted to recreate a döner but failed hard lol. The stars come off because the fries were extra hard and the price was really high
I dropped in for lunch with my fiancé and we ordered 2 Souvlaki Chicken Plates, one with rice and the other with French fries. The food was just simply okay, it wasn't bad but it also wasn't flavorful. The chicken and rice both could've used more seasoning. The salad looked fresh and fragrant but it had hardly any taste. The french fries were the best by far. Otherwise, the restaurant is nice inside and the staff was nice.
We were excited to see Nick The Greek come to the Village! Of course parking is always an issue in the village around lunchtime, we had to park pretty far away and walk over. We got a lunch to go and I got the pork belly gyro with fries and my wife got the beef & lamb gyro bowl. I enjoyed my gyro, it was tasty and the portion of fries was pretty sizeable so that was a plus! My wife enjoyed her bowl as well. The only real downsides here were the fries did not keep well on the ride home, they ended up pretty soggy so I di... read more
I'd say this chain is just ok. Their Greek salad is very basic with tomatoes and cucumber. Wish you could order a large lettuce Greek salad. The plates are ok, service is ok. Price is a tad high for what you get. Over it's ok, wish there were good choices.
