I'm so happy this place opened in castro Valley!!! The food is great! I've been here 4 times in 3 weeks and food comes out fast, fresh, hot and delicious. I've tried most of the items on the menu, beef and lamb gyro, chicken Slovaki plate, the greek salad and they have all been delicious. The staff is very friendly and efficient. Overall great food and service!
Five stars because there's no other Greek in town, so thank you for coming to Castro Valley! Takeout style Gyros, Falafels, kebobs and the like. Seems a little expensive for takeout, but I get it that costs have risen. Very good and fresh food. The variety of fries are a yummy addition. They've never heard of Tahini, which is very weird to me. Makes me especially glad to have another place that I can go to for my half vegetarian / half carnivore family.
1st time here, it was delicious!! Got the chicken plate with the side salad. I will definitely be back!
Food is good but it's odd that they play Hispanic music. Clean restaurant and nice staff.
Food taste: 3 stars. Gyro is very salty though lettuce is fresh enough. Flavor is ok but please put less salt so it's more healthy and delicious. Service is mediocre but serving speed is good. I won't be coming back.
We called to order to-go from here on a weekday for lunch and our food was ready within 15 minutes. The fries were good but didn't keep too well with the 15 minute drive home so they were a bit soggy. But what can we say... everything else about that place was solid. The meat was well-seasoned, the pita was super soft, and the sauce (a sweet mustard) was great. The baklava was also very tasty but I will add sweet. Ordered through Doordash. Wow! Avgolemono soup came hot, lemony and perfect. Falafel sandwich on fresh, warm, pillowy pita was properly stuffed with light crispy falafel and lettuce and tomato, with just the right amount of sauce and seasoning. Made just right and properly wrapped with care, it never fell apart through to the last bite. Yum! Dessert were little sweet, nut sprinkled loukoumades, giving me a taste of beignet a few days before Fat Tuesday. Happy. Will repeat. Thank you Nick.
Great customer service. Staff is always friendly and helpful . We went this afternoon and had gyros, falafel , salad and fries. Everything was fresh and delicious. Can't wait to go back!
Ordered the pork salad and the chicken salad. What a nice presentation of food and so much meat piled high on top! Delicious and fresh arugula and salad greens with a drizzle of balsamic vinegar kept everything so sweet and tart and tasty! Loved the slightly charred tortilla triangles dipped in their yogurt dressing! Finished it all! Plenty of seating inside and outside. Cordial and prompt service. Highly recommend.
