We got takeout from here on out way home and this place was great. Food was ready at the pickup time when we arrived, huge portions and reasonable prices. The veggie gyro plate was pretty healthy and with the side salad, was a lot of food and made a couple meals. Greek fries were delicious. Great food, great service and fair prices. I have been here twice and enjoyed it both times. I found it on a whim, but now, it's my new favorite fast food spot. Honestly, it's going to replace the Jack n the Box cravings I get. I am starting to prefer Nicks over alot of existing fast food joints in my neighborhood. Look forward to trying new items on the menu. Don't forget to grab dessert

Last time I wanted to try this place, I walked away for some reason but this time, I really got to try it. My lamb gyro wrap was super delicious. I ordered without onion and it still tasted great. Their yogurt sauce was perfect that I did not have to put anything on it. Lamb was not chewy and did not smell bad at all. This is my favorite nick the Greek location. Been to about 5 others locations and it was a hit or miss. I had the beef lamb bowl for the first time and I do recommend. The person who assisted us was Lupita, she was polite and friendly! Great experience overall and will return soon!

This is one of my favorite NTG's in the area. My go- to's are the chicken gyro bowl & kid's plate. The food is always fresh and well served! The fro-yo w/ the chocolate coating is perf for a sweet treat!

Nick the Greek is a reliable and now ubiquitous restaurant chain offering casual Greek street food at affordable prices. The Gyro Bowl offered a combination of vibrant Greek flavors including both yellow basmati rice and Greek salad (romaine, cucumbers, tomatoes, red onions, feta cheese, red wine vinaigrette), topped with gyros and drizzled with spicy yogurt and tzatziki on top. Nick the Greek has solid, but no spectacular cuisine. It's affordable at $12.50 for a beef/lamb wrap. Flavor profile was savory, salad was crisp and fresh.

Solid Greek eatery in Castro valley shopping center. I stopped by for dinner as I was in the area and found it to be clean and well run. I ordered the pork belly gyro which was superb, and a good value. Since my first visit, I have returned with family and we had a consistently good experience in both the food quality and the cleanliness and service offered. We have tried the other gyros (chicken and beef/lamb) and the beef-teki bowl. Will be back for more pork belly gyros!
