This is my favorite nick the Greek location. Been to about 5 others locations and it was a hit or miss. I had the beef lamb bowl for the first time and I do recommend. The person who assisted us was Lupita, she was polite and friendly! Great experience overall and will return soon!

This is one of my favorite NTG's in the area. My go- to's are the chicken gyro bowl & kid's plate. The food is always fresh and well served! The fro-yo w/ the chocolate coating is perf for a sweet treat!

Nick the Greek is a reliable and now ubiquitous restaurant chain offering casual Greek street food at affordable prices. The Gyro Bowl offered a combination of vibrant Greek flavors including both yellow basmati rice and Greek salad (romaine, cucumbers, tomatoes, red onions, feta cheese, red wine vinaigrette), topped with gyros and drizzled with spicy yogurt and tzatziki on top. Every bite was flavorful and delicious, combining savory, tangy, meaty, and fresh flavors. I also tried the Pork Souvlaki Pita, a wrap built on a cr... read more

Nick the Greek has solid, but no spectacular cuisine. It's affordable at $12.50 for a beef/lamb wrap. Flavor profile was savory, salad was crisp and fresh.

TLDR: delicious To preface, I went at 11am right when it opened I ordered Gyro Salad and I got veggie for protein and I was expecting some horrible veggie patty or something but I got mushrooms and cucumber instead and they were delicious Everything was delicious, perfectly coated in the vinaigrette, (might be because I came in at 11am) it was hot and steamy when they served it and everything was perfectly tender Pita bread is so fluffy and delicious. Wish they gave more. Genuinely Im a bread lover so this was so good, i... read more

Solid Greek eatery in Castro valley shopping center. I stopped by for dinner as I was in the area and found it to be clean and well run. I ordered the pork belly gyro which was superb, and a good value. Since my first visit, I have returned with family and we had a consistently good experience in both the food quality and the cleanliness and service offered. We have tried the other gyros (chicken and beef/lamb) and the beef-teki bowl. Will be back for more pork belly gyros!

First time here and it was just ok, probably not going back. The customer service was the best thing about this place. It was also very clean and attended to. I ordered the Lemon Soup which was super watery and lacking flavor. I ended up leaving 3/4 of the bowl behind. I also ordered the Chicken Souvlaki Bowl. It was not filled all the way and just lacked flavor. If it weren't for the sauce, I would not have eaten it. The chicken was extremely dry unappealing. Maybe I just ordered the wrong thing??

The good here is pretty good overall. The lamb/beef was on the bland side in our nick's fries. The sauce was good, and I wouldn't have been mad if they added more. I will say there was a lot of meat on the fries, and feta as well. The frozen yogurt with baklava was really good As were the loukemedes. Their desert items are really good . No complaints. The restaurant was super clean, and the food came out quick. T

Consistently fresh, delicious, and super fast service when you dine-in. We come here very regularly for dinner and it's always a hit even with the kids. The lamb-beef gyro is flavorful, and the pita is warm and soft with just a touch of browning. Fried hot and fresh and the froyo with baklava is a great way to finish. Highly recommend.
