This place is awesome. If you live downtown and want a reliable, cheap, tasty bite this is the one. The beers are always $5 (where else can you find that) and the service is great. I am never disappointed when stopping by Nick the Greek!

My favorite Greek food is chicken souvlaki because I grew up eating it at Pita Pit in Bowling Green, Ohio. Totally authentic of course but it actually was good. Fast forward time and I'm here with my pals at Nick the Greek today, where they also have chicken souvlaki. I ordered a plate before I went up to LA for the Final Fantasy piano concert (f*cking amazing). It was like 4PM and I knew I wasn't gonna eat anything for the rest of the day after that. Plate comes with FRIEEEESSSS, tomatoes, onions, tzatziki, salad, pita bre... read more

Wandered into this place after deciding we were hungry during our time in the area. The inside was well kept and had restrooms available for use. The menus is clearly displayed and has quite a few options. The portions were decent but the quality of the food for the price was underwhelming. The chicken pita was quite tasty but I wasn't a fan fan of the mustard like sauce that came with it. I was expecting the traditional tzatziki sauce. The bowl had a little more flavor and the sauce I wanted. One of the workers was vacu... read more

Gyro salads! Hubby got lamb. I got the chicken. Good amount of protein with green leafies! Love arugula and the lightly sweetened dressing. Grilled slices of pita bread along the sides of the salad. Quick and healthy lunch! FIFA playing indoors on TV but can also hear the play by play on outdoor speakers on front patio. $5 beer to go along with Hubby's lunch! This place is pretty close to Petco. I can see this place getting busy whenever there are events at the stadium.

It was a busy night after a Padres game and we decided to try this place out. We were first greeted by the owner and he offered us a "$5 beer to ease the pain" of a Padres loss and it did ease the pain It was our first time there and we weren't sure what to get. Eventually, I chose the chicken bowl with tzatziki and my husband got a burger recommended by the owner. I was really surprised about the size/ amount of food we got for the price. The rice and everything in the bowl was really good and my husband really enjoyed the... read more
