This used to be a go to place if we were in the area; however, the last two visits have been disappointing. The service is fast and friendly. The place always seems clean. It is the food that is not as fresh as it used to be. On two occasions now the onions, lettuce and tomatoes were past their prime and yesterday the French fries were burnt. The meat and pita were still good. I will likely give it one more try before giving up on it.
We were in San Diego downtown and found this great Greek restaurant. Very clean, central to Gaslamp area. We had lunch there, good friendly staff. Good portions of food as well.
This is one of my favorite places to get a gyro. The meat is so flavorfull and they pile it in bery generously. I always ask them to add cucumber, so they allow you to customize. Their fries are some of my favorite, and have rosemary on them. Everything is made to order so it's served piping hot. I did try there soup as well and that's the only thing I will say is hit or miss. Sometimes it's very good with a nice lemony flavor, and other times it's a bit more bland. Surprisingly the burgers are really good. I finally tr... read more
One of the nicest guys I've ever met - and quite handsome inside and out. My friend and I stopped by for the first time on our way to Yankees/Padres game. Padres won by the way! Such a friendly and charismatic smile and personality that he just makes you want to come back for more. The staff are great, friendly and hardworking as well. Best Beef/Lamb Gyros and Pita Bread I've had here in SD. (Although Mazara is a nice alternative if you're in South Park.) The Pita bread was fantastic and the meat was delicious. I need to ... read more

My sister wanted a quick snack and we were in the area. It was delicious and really flakey. It was also very pretty. The service was fast and caring. I would come back to actually have meal when I am the area. It was quite and very nice to eat here. The place was cute.
I never heard about this chain until my bf recommended the dessert to me. I came here and had some food which i really enjoyed, but this review is for the baklava and frozen yogurt LOL. IM TELL YOU, its so good. The perfect balance of sweet, tart, crunchy, and nutty. I literally talk about it every week. i have come here a handful of times just to get the dessert. They get baklava, crush it on top of tart frozen yogurt, and top with honey. Thank me later lol
The food and service is always good! Definitely satisfies my Greek food fix. Although I've never eaten inside, the ambience is always chill.
Its okay. Quality seems inconsistent. My beef bowl was kind of mushy but maybe its how beefteki is. Will come back and give it a second chance-- probably order something else like veggies or chicken.
