The food was good but we got scammed the customer service was bad. I tried to get the combo for 3.99 and she asked me for what kinda of meat but didn't tell me it was 9 dollars more. So I ended up spending $15 instead of $3.99.

Horrible. Second time I ordered from them and none of the items in my order were correct. Get it together nick the greek it's not that hard to read.

It was a beautiful day on barricaded Laurel Street in San Carlos so my significant other and I picked Nick's for a bite since I'd eaten at the one in Redwood City on Broadway and had raved about it to her. We sat down at a table outside and ordered 2 Euro Plates whereas one was beef/lamb and the second was pork. I tried. I really did. After my bad experience in July, I went back in mid-September to give this place another chance. I actually went there 3 times in 4 days, spending a a total of $260. The owner, Jack, tried to be helpful and made sure my order was right every time. But on the third day, when I asked for some more mustard sauce, he said he had given me enough. Got a Greek salad with gyro meat and a space dust beer. The meat was was really good, cucumber and tomato and peppers tasted fresh, dressing good, service fast, but the olives were just ok and they skimped on the feta. There was also a hair in my meal so that's always a buzz kill and I didn't eat a chunk of my meal as a result. Guy behind the counter was impatient Would come back for the gyro meat

This place is fucking amazing, the staff are very friendly and well mannered. The food is so damn delicious, first time eating there and first time eating a gyro, man that shit slapped. Definitely set the bar high for gyros, amazing place. For sure coming back!!!

I love Nick the Greek, but this particular location need to improve. I never had any issues in Redwood City or Sunnyvale. But San Carlos is complete opposite. The issues I had with them during last few weeks: - placing order through their web site and coming to pick up - they didn't get the order(even though my card was charged) as a result 30+mins wait during lunch time.. - readiness of your order is also not fun - I place an order and they send me email with the time when it should be ready. The manager/owner, not sure who he is-grey hair older man needs to chill the fuck down! Interrupting my order while I was talking and being rude as fuck to the cashier yelling at her about some missing older. I'm a customer too and he should wait to talk to the cashier when I'm done and he needs to do it in a respectful manner.
