I love Nick the Greek, but this particular location need to improve. I never had any issues in Redwood City or Sunnyvale. But San Carlos is complete opposite. The issues I had with them during last few weeks: - placing order through their web site and coming to pick up - they didn't get the order(even though my card was charged) as a result 30+mins wait during lunch time.. - readiness of your order is also not fun - I place an order and they send me email with the time when it should be ready. The manager/owner, not sure who he is-grey hair older man needs to chill the fuck down! Interrupting my order while I was talking and being rude as fuck to the cashier yelling at her about some missing older. I'm a customer too and he should wait to talk to the cashier when I'm done and he needs to do it in a respectful manner. Ok, I've probably posted on yelp twice in my life ( positive reviews) but I think my experience tonight requires a unfavorable response. For the last two months my inbox has been receiving email coupons from nick the greek. Being a local San Carlos restaurant and wanting support local during the pandemic, I thought I'd give it a try. Gyro is okay! Greek salads had too much tomato, and seems tasteless Because no dressing, at first the employees are trying to justify it that the way they make it. but they were willing to remake it. I just don't want it anymore after that. Probably will not eat here again! I don't recommend this place.

Avoid like the plague. At one point there were 3 employees behind the counter where you order, right next to each other, not socially distanced in a tiny space. One employee was eating at a table, mask off. Grabbed his mask and started walking with it in his hand. This same employee came and took our order and Never washed his hands, and did not put gloves on. He served frozen yogurt and handled the entire container multiple times. Not sure who was wrong but frustrated. Ordered three dinners in door dash. Only one arrived. I called the driver he said call Nicks. Spoke to Daniel at Nicks. I was tried to get to the bottom of what happened. He said they printed two tickets for my meal which would tell me three meals on each ticket but he said one ticket had one meal the other ticket had two meals. Door dash delivered one meal. There is a reason for the one star. I am writing on behalf of my wife who purchased our dinner on 6/18/20,yesterday evening. Firstly, I would like to state that I have been on the hunt for the best gyros. I've had the Arab versions from all around, Aladdin gourmet, hummus,high end restaurant mi van and I seem partial to the Greek gyros only because I prefer the thicker pita to lavash. If you are looking for poor service and an owner that lacks accountability, then this restaurant is right up your alley. It's a shame that a restaurant of this poor quality is able to operate a business in San Carlos, especially on Laurel St where they are so many amazing restaurants to choose from. Your family should enjoy better quality food and service.

Uber Eats dropped off Nick the Greek tonight. The salad was like soup it was so overdressed and the French fries tasted like they had been cooked up yesterday. When I called to let the restaurant know, the person that answered the phone was ride and dissmisive. Now if I could just get off their never ending email list.
