Nick the Greek is a franchise with several Bay Area locations. This particular location is near me(in downtown San Carlos) and it's surrounded by other restaurants and shops so it's a nice place to walk around before or after you may eat here. For my first time here, I ordered the Chicken Souvlaki Plate(seasoned cubed chicken, with fries or rice with tzatziki sauce, pita bread, salad) and all for $13.25(as of this review). Was on the hunt for a place still open for takeout and was so lucky to drive by this place. I was so excited that they had a veggie option as I typically try to have a vegan diet. Made an exception that day and opted for the sauce in the veggie pita combo with fries. It was absolutely delicious!! Really nice staff and looked clean inside. My friend and I can't wait to go back again. Thank you!!
My first time order through "DoorDash" today ~ thanks to my son who set it up for me. And my first DoorDash order is this restaurant. I have to say I'm surprise how quick it arrives. The food were quite good to my surprise. The flavor was good. I love Greek food so this is definitely gonna be on my list !!

Haven't been to a Nick the Greek since the first one opened up in San Jose some years back. This location definitely knocks it out of the park. Staff was nice, place was clean, and of course the food was great. I got the lamb/beef plate with pita and my boyfriend got the lamb/beef Gyro with Greek fries. He said it was delicious and would definitely go back. Looking forward to my next visit!
Just popped in for a Gyro. Didn't have big expectations but guess I should have. Delicious Gyro, big portions and and amazing fries on the side. Super friendly service and you can tell the franchisee is a owner and operator. Super clean and well branded. Opa!

The food is good but pricey. The Greek soft serve yogurt is tasty but way too expensive for what you get. We had ordered ahead for takeout but the food wasn't ready when we arrived and they didn't have enough of soft serve for our full order which is fine.

This has emerged as the kids' favorite Laurel Street restaurant. They really enjoy the gyro plate with chicken and rice (which also comes with pita), and they always look forward to having Greek frozen yogurt at the end of the meal (you can order it when you arrive and they'll make it for you when you're ready for dessert).
