Nick the Greek is centrally located in on the Castro Village next door to "Always your Bakery " On Rustic Ave & conveniently open till 9PM! I got there in a 'nick' of time 8:55pm & ordered a gyro bowl @ $12.50 . Been a fan for almost 3 years it's so good. Definitely recommend trying it it's delicious.
I love Nick the Greek and I'm so glad they opened up a location so close to me. The beef/lamb gyro bowl is my go-to order. The meat has great texture. Also, normally lamb is too gamy for me, but I don't taste that at all here. It also comes with rice, salad, and feta, and a sauce on top. Everything tastes fresh and they are generous with their portion size, especially with the meat. The leftovers can last me for another meal!

Nick The Greek opened where Luke's Grill was. Everyone loves Souvla, but I think Nick the Greek is the winner for me. They opened recently, so I stopped by with a friend. I ordered the Beef/Lamb Gyro and shared Nick's Fries. The portion size for Nick's Fries was HUGE!! It was literally a meal in itself and the spicy yogurt sauce was so good. Fries didn't get super soggy either, which was great.
