I've had Nick the Greek at various locations and have been generally happy with their food quality until the Castro Valley location somehow kept messing up and the food was either under seasoned, overcooked, or just not good. I pretty much gave up on Nick after trying the CV location a handful of times and was left disappointed every time. When this location was opening up, I had reservations and was hesitant in trying it. I happened to have caught an ad for the grand opening offering free lunch. The free meal was fresh and... read more
I came here to get the chicken gyro bowl and it was really good. I feel like the food at this place is better than the one in Castro Valley. The chicken at the Castro Valley location is cooked a little too dry for me. But when I had it here it was really good. I would definitely come here opposed to the one in Castro Valley.
The food was so good and filling, I would think it has more business I hope more people will come here so they don't ever close. The staff were nice too
Great value for money. Nick's Greek Fries (with pork belly) are a must and enough for 2 people.
We went to San Leandro for the first time. The food was HOT and delicious. The serving was enough for left overs. My husbands first time eatting greek food and he loved it. Went in the second time, it must of been a different cook or a tired cook. The serving was less, the fries was hard and cold but overall the food itself was good. The customer service was very friendly. My advice, keep it consistent with HOT FRESH FOOD all the way down to the fries. Will be back.
Great proteins. Everything from the salad to the rice were fresh and tasty. But the star is the Hummus, with the slightly charred pita.. I just shivered a little.
I've heard about Nick the Greek for their gyros but since it was a fast food Greek place, I didn't have high expectations. But I still had it on my to-try list. So recently I was in the area and decided to order some gyros. I placed my order for an 11:30 pickup. The restaurant is located on E 14th, but they do have a parking lot in the back. When I got to restaurant, there was a line four deep and I did not notice a sign for online pickups. As the line drew closer, I notice a bag at the side of the register. I saw another... read more
