I used to go to this in San Mateo and the quality was much much better. It seems like the over spice or do something different with the food. In addition to Service is really bad. They constantly mess up our orders. I finally got tired of it this week and called them to get a refund on one of the orders the lady said she'd call me back in 30 minutes and never called .
The food is good but I'm concerned that they use the wrong side of the paper and the color from the paper leaked onto the food. See photo.
This is the third time we have ordered from san leandro location. Each time the meat and pita is burned. Its inedible.
So disappointing! Tasteless chicken on Greek Salad. Ditto on French Fries!!! Falafel was ok. I was hopeful, but will not try again.
I finally gave this place a try and it was very disappointing. Im not really sure why so many people love this place. Most of the pita bread was hard like a cracker, they barely give you hummus for what they charge and the food barely comes with sauce. I asked for extra taziki sauce and got 1 little tiny sauce cup. The place I normally go to is cheaper, more authentic and the food is always good. This place is a waste of money.
Nick the Greek is pretty good in general, so I was surprised when I had the chicken gyro at this location and the chicken was so dry and hard. The soup was completely tasteless, and I had to ask for a spoon for the soup. No napkins either. I would think a new location would make sure the food was good, at least for 1 month before slacking off...
