I order my food on what seemed to be a vertical iPad that was at about the length of my knees. Then the food took 35 minutes to come and when it came out they did not have the correct portions sizes and did not add my extra meat. The whole place was a mess.

Took over 35 minutes long to get my one kebab. Continued to prioritize online orders instead of in person customers. Homeless people came into the restaurant with their dogs to fill up their "water" and nothing was done by the workers. I recognize that the restaurant was busy but I had quite and unpleasant experience and will not coming back.

The server was not knowledgeable about gluten & I was sick after the meal. It is upsetting & disappointing that a chain like Nick the Greek doesn't invest in training their staff. Generally, the food is mediocre & the service, as stated, very poor.

I did not like the food I thought it was gonna be better than it actually was the fries were soggy the chicken was overdone and tomatoes did not taste good at all and I am pretty sure they put a whole onion on my food would not recommended

Pretty disappointed with the service at this place. So far I've only been here a couple of times but the last time I went in just ordered a gyro and salad the two kids behind the counter made it I guess but then they just were back there standing and talking to each other. It took quite a while I was in there about 20 minutes just sitting a few feet away from them but I didn't want to say anything because I didn't want to be pushy but they just left my order sitting there for a long time by the time I finally got it opened i... read more

I've had many good experiences and I usually enjoy the food. This last time I ordered a gyro and "Nick fries" and they literally poured garlic on it. I'm not talking some garlic. I love garlic. This literally burned my mouth there was so much. I let a couple buddies try to get a second opinion and they could not stand it. Stick with the gyro!

Got the Greek fries, chicken smelled a little off but I played it off like it was fine. 5 hours later I'm throwing up in my bathroom.

Worst Greek I've ever had. Ordered the chicken souvlaki. There was plenty of chicken on two skewers, but it was completely flavorless. It wasn't broiled in any way, probably baked and then microwaved after being frozen? Huge amount of lettuce in the salad, but just one (!) olive and some grated cheese, definitely not feta. OK pita bread and then some dipping sauce that was supposed to be either hummus or tzatziki, I think it was mayonnaise with some unknown flavoring. I ate about 1/3 of the meal and tossed the rest

On Saturday, August 5, 2023 around noon my small family of 3 visited the restaurant for the first time. We are long-time Greek food fans, so we had decided it would be a safe choice for our casual family visit to Downtown Santa Cruz. We ordered a lamb souvlaki, a Greek salad, and a side of falafel (Just the balls and sauce). The lamb had a strong and disappointingly fatty taste and aroma.
