Meal was fine but the service was poor. The attendant who took my order was disinterested in my questions about the food and told me their bathrooms were closed early and had no suggestions on where to use a facility nearby. Female attend with red hair and nose piercings. I've worked in service and can understand it can be difficult to say no but there's no need to add a choose a approach to that conversation.

desperately want to leave these guys a great review..... Last month, I came down to Santa Cruz for work and the office manager ordered Nick the Greek for us. I really liked it and, earlier this week, when I came back to Santa Cruz, I asked her the name of the restaurant because I likekd it so much. Tonight, I ordered over $200 worth of food. Disgusting, cold meat, smelly onions. Tomato pieces looked like they were cut in 4th. I ordered, went to the restroom to pee and came out and my food was ready (within 2 min of ordering). Yes I appreciate food that is served fast but not THAT fast. Food was clearly sitting there for a while, employee sloppily put it together and put it out. I ate the fries, that's the only good thing about this place.

Good lamb and beef gyro but the pork belly was fucking gross. Big chunks of fat like wow is this even cooked. I dont like to eat pure fat chunks. My lamb beef gyro was good but greasy

I've been here several times and they are out of sriracha sauce and I leave. Just trying to get the word out to the owner/manager. I'm going to stop eating there. Why not get a few cases at Safeway if your vendor Cisco is out .

Not great, not great at all. The chicken on my salad was dry and flavorless. Fries are just wet and sadddd.

Had my first visit last night. I was really let down with the lost potential. Most falafel places have good fries because the fryer is on blast, so it seemed that the Nick's Fries would be a natural. What's not to like; fries, garlic, feta, gyro meat? I mean, yum, right? First off, the portion of fries is really generous. Generous enough to share and I'll bet that when the fries are good they are screamin good. Wow, big portions of fries. BUT these fries were soft, greasy and undercooked. Nick the Greek has continued to go downhill the longer it has been in business on Pacific Ave in Santa Cruz. Tonight the guy at the register was texting on his phone for several minutes as we stood there waiting for him to take our order. Next, the order was wrong and we didn't receive the side salad that comes with the Gyro plate. The food was also super greasy like they forgot to drain the fries or something, and there was a pool of oil in the bottom of the takeout box. Was excited about the Greek salad that's the second spot in Santa Cruz to disappoint. Chicken was dark and white meat but mostly dark meat and chicken skins floating around in my salad. Not a great experience.
