I normally am pretty picky when it comes to Mediterranean food but this place is GREAT! The chicken gyro is the best I've ever tried! They put mustard instead of tzatziki sauce, and it really complimented it well! The lamb/beef gyro is also great. High recommend this place, definitely my go-to!!
My go to greek food place in santa cruz! The friendliest staff with quick service & also the best gyro pitas. Pita wraps are always so filling & great with the tzatziki sauce!
Tried the chicken gyro for the first time during my visit to Santa Cruz and I absolutely loved it! Great flavoring, super tasty, and amazing service. Loved how easy it was to eat, felt super authentic. Will be back 100% whenever I'm back in the city.
Great food! Great service!! I was happy to see they were all wearing gloves and mask. I had the gyro bowl and it was great! Full of flavor and light. We also ordered the baklava and it was very tasty! I'll be ordering from them again! Great new addition to Santa Cruz.
I've always heard good things about Nick the Greek! I recently tried it for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. My boyfriend and I ordered for delivery on Uber eats or DoorDash - I cant remember which. I ordered the chicken souvlaki plate and my boyfriend got nick's fries. The portions here are huge! Popped in for some take out during the worldwide shutdown of fun aka covid-19. Cool ambiance aside from chairs being stacked up ceiling high in preperation for the inevitable zombie apocalypse. Suppose I gotta give them props for being proactive. The gal at the counter was warm and welcoming, so much so that she almost inadvertently gave us another guys food in addition to our order. Very happy with our lunch, gyro and falafel, with salad and fries. Food is tasty and fresh. Great location on Pacific in Santa Cruz. They are doing a great job with the no-contact pickup. Easy to order online and you get a text when order is ready.
The food here is always top notch and the staff are really nice. I always visit when I come downtown.
