I really like the falafel pita wrap! It's very yummy and doesn't make my stomach feel too heavy. Also love their tzatziki sauce. Really yummy to get extra pita bread and tzatziki sauce. Not too into their hummus though, it's a little bland tasting. But I'll be back for another falafel pita! It's really great to get to-go too. And everyone working was super kind as well! Was able to get my to go order fairly fast and head back home.
This place always hits the spot! I'm soooo HAPPY there's one finally in Santa Cruz!!! This location is a great corner spot in downtown SC! There's a parking lot around back, too. I love how spacious the inside is. There's a smaller outside Parker area too. I love the lettuce with Tzatziki and mustard sauce combo on their chicken gyros. Their pitas are always fresh and delicious! I'll be back!!
Wow! The food at Nick the Greek has a wow factor with every bite. Truly a great array of Greek food. My family & I will defiantly be coming back!!
I love their bowls, but the gyros are super greasy as is the meat. The fries are meh.

I came here for a quick lunch in Santa Cruz. I've seen Nick the Greek restaurants all over but this was the day it was calling my name. The block right in front of the restaurant is closed to traffic (July 2021) so that was nice. It doesn't have much outdoor seating though, just 2 two-person tables right in front. We came in around 11:30am and had the whole restaurant to ourselves so we ate indoors. The space is pretty big and clean. Really good hummus with a bold flavor and smooth texture. Great pita bread with a slight charred flavor I like. Perfect falafel balls. Quick service too even with a steady flow of orders on a Friday night. Enjoyed this late night snack.
Came here for lunch the other day. The chicken here was really flavorful and I would definitely recommend it! We got it with the kid's plate, which was plenty big and honestly a great deal. The falafel bowl was good too, but not as flavorful and I probably would order the chicken instead next time. The sauce was super good though and so was the rice. Food came quickly and parking was metered around the corner.
Meh. We had chicken & beef/lamb gyros. Everything was just OK. The gyro meet was fine, not too salty, just OK. OK. And very little flavor and they gave very little of it. The salad at virtually no flavor. I visited in June 2021, tail end of Covid. Maybe they are just having a very hard time finding staff, but the dining area was filthy.
