The first time we had it it was great, but the second time something changed. I will say we did take out the second time but we only live 10 mins away (we ordered there and took it home). We ordered the same thing, beef/lamb gyros, but everything on the gyros was cold and it had way too much sauce. We were just disappoint with the quality of the food.

Nick the Greek is ok food, it's not great but highly overpriced. During my last visit the staff basically lied about what I was ordering, I got a Gyro Plate expecting a Gyro with extra stuff but was surprised to see the individual ingredients separated and basically slapped on a plate with a side salad. I even asked them if there was any difference between the plate and the Gyro on the menu but was assured that there really wasn't minus the added extras. The meat was good, sauce, and the vegetables were edible, making this ... read more

Great location, friendly service and average food. My chicken gyro tasted more like pieces of grilled chicken stuffed between random salad, French fries and sauce that tasted like a lot of mayo. Their falafel that I ordered as a side was really good though. I think the place can improve to provide more authentic tasting gyro.

Two stars, would be 1 star but service and staff were good, and the food was served promptly. 1. It was overwhelmingly (disgustingly) seasoned with garlic 2. Stone cold 3. Unforgivably soggy We were both hangry and still threw it away after 2 bites. I wouldn't feed this to my cat. The fact that this place is open and Falafel house on Walnut street closed. Shame on you Santa Cruz residents.

We decided to try this place through Door Dash. Literally cannot believe there are positive reviews. I ordered a Chicken Souvlaki plate and the pita was so dry and old it was a joke, fries limp and stale and chicken dry and tasted like it was cooked last week. We also ordered the dessert donuts and they also tasted very old. So unimpressed will never return.

This place used to be really good. I was very happy it's survived Covid shut down, but the service is miserable. And the food is not that good anymore. I was very disappointed. I upgraded to the fries and a drink. The fries were dry and the oregano was not enough to take away the dried out texture or flavor. The Gyro was mediocre. I couldn't tell if the lamb was lamb. No flavor. And the guy took my order didn't really seem to be that interested, nor could he understand me. I don't get it guys. What happened?

Pretty mediocre, I've had real Greek food though so that's what I'm comparing it against. Real Greek is mind blowing good, meat is dry and baklava is hard and too sweet. Not sure it deserves 1 star but almost

Yelp failed me on this one. To the box of shame for anyone boosting this place as good. It's not good. We sadly threw away a ridiculous amount of inedible food. I was over having to continue making my way to the counter to correct the items in our order. The tomatoes and cucumbers were soggy and tasted old. The fries were stale and also tastes old. Chicken was undercooked. Falafel was rock hard. Their feta is of great quality and their dressing is very flavorful. 1 star The kid at the counter a total sweetheart ... read more
