A little expensive but my gyro was packed with juicy hot meat. Fries in the gyro were odd but it didn't bother me much, food came out in a matter of minutes but it took 20 minutes for my friends burger to arrive. Clean inside and the bathroom wasn't too nasty, refillable cup always a plus.

A simple but tasty Greek eat in/take out joint is open till 11:00p.m. and, if you are a vegetarian, their veggie options are very tasty. It is centrally located downtown and orders a great alternative to Eric's Deli or Subway and is comparably priced.

I mean, it's alright. I received much better food and service at Achilles in Midtown.

Food delicious, I didn't know what to order but the lady at the register was really helpful and explained the menu than she jumped back in the kitchen and got my food ready l, i asked for her name she said Sol! I got a beef lamb giro with the greek fries very tasty, fries nice and warm, definitely coming back here

Overall, I had a good visit to Nick The Greek. It was open late, so it was a nice break from the pizza and Mexican restaurants open at the same time. I ordered a lamb gyro meal which came with fries and a drink for $17.43 after tax. It seemed a little expensive, so I had high hopes. Food was amazing! I love how they stay open late because it is a good choice if you want a healthy option other than fast food. Just place to try if you are stopping in Santa Cruz!

Excellent Greek food with fast service and not too expensive. The gyros are outstanding and is in a generous serving of food so you are not left hungry. The employees aren't the most friendly but otherwise Nick the Greek is an excellent place to eat.

We had two great salads, Greek, and I can't remember what my friend had, but looked excellent and she really liked it. Everything was fresh, tasty, and the place was clean. It was about 11pm, so our options were few. We very very happy, enjoying a nice patio table on Pacific Ave. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The prices are very reasonable. Sorry I forgot the exact amount, and pictures, but you can see online. We were too busy eating and enjoying!
