Had a bad experience tonight, but owner reached out right away and offered to fix the situation. I will give them another shot. I've had many good experiences here in the past, so it's worth trying again.

We shared the Beef/Lamb Gyro , which has seasoned beef and lamb meat, served on a warm pita bread filled with fries, tomatoes, onions and tzatziki sauce. I've never had a gyro with French fries in it, but somehow this all worked I asked for extra tzatziki sauce, but it didn't really need it. This sauce is also different as it is a bit spicy. We liked it. The food is ready fast. Biked here and sat outside by my bike Got a baklava to go

Gyros are pretty good here! Good portions but the salad was a little small and I wasn't a huge fan of their lemon chicken soup. For the price, the speed, and the portions I'll give it a 4. My girlfriend likes the vegetarian option!

Came out to Santa Cruz for the day. Chose this place for brunch and the food is amazing. Green Fries are really good. Meat cooked to perfection on my Gyro

So many things to eat in Santa Cruz but this is a must. Usually busy but always good. You seriously can not go wrong with any order. From the gyro to falafel and the fries. This is what you want when you think about Greek food. I was stuffed the last time I was here because I wanted everything. Gotta have my options and here you certainly can. Don't be stingy, blow a wad here and you won't regret it.

Came here for lunch and got the Greek Gyro Plate. It came with an amazing amount of food and I was totally stuffed. The meat itself was great and the salad was also very large and I loved it. The white sauce could have been bigger but it was a good size. The french fries that came with my plate were soggy so I wish I had gotten rice instead of the fries. Love coming here. The food is fresh, healthy and delicious. The staff are friendly and helpful. I usually get the chicken souvlaki plate. The prices are good. Take a look at my pictures

I really don't patron franchises vs. local businesses when I can help it, but this Nick the Greek's is a really great addition to the Santa Cruz food scene for a fast, affordable bite. They give you a quantity of food for the price, and the rice is SO GOOD. I also never really order chicken at most places and I really like their chicken souvlaki. I also love their fries!

Nick the Greek is the perfect place to go for a quick and easy meal. It's super easy to dine in or take out and the food comes out pretty quick. My favorite thing to order here is the Beef/Lamb Gyro Bowl!! It's super filling and I always have leftovers, but there is just not enough rice for the amount of meat they give. And it is quite salty. The large serving of meat is nice, but I just wish it were more balanced. The cashiers here are nice and always pack utensils when I order takeout!!
