dined in and the fries came out like it was pre made wasn't served hot just cold room temperature like in n out fries if you took them to go for later...
I always order my usual, a chicken gyro bowl. I usually order from pinole or concord. Today, I was in the area so I stopped by this location to get a chicken gyro bowl. The chicken was hard and tasted old along with the rice. It was soo hard. So gross! won't be coming back to this location!
After experiencing The Real in GREECE, this is nothing like that experience. It's too bad because the food in Greece was a 10/10.
At 3 PM today, I picked up some Greek fries, my daughter's favorite, but they were cold and soggy, as if they had been sitting out for a while. Every other time, they have been fresh. Next time, I'll take a sample before I leave.
Do not order from here after 5pm. They will skimp you on everything because they are too lazy to make more ingredients. Serve you old lettuce that's been hanging out all day. Compare your food from when they first open to closing. Terrible. Only worth the $ if you go early.
This place is great some days and terrible others! One time I ordered months ago, portion was terrible. The I ordered again 2-3 weeks ago, portion was great and food tasted good but they forgot sauce on my nick fries.. I ate them dry. This time, portion was HORRIBLE! it was worse than before and 70% of the "chicken" in my bowl was all chewy fat. Terrible. I don't know if I should keep supporting this place hoping for a "good" day or stop because it's so bad at times.
Chicken Gyro with fries was my order. I'm eating the chicken thinking the pink color after biting the chicken was just from the way they cook it .. no . I was sick with food poisoning for a week . Plus the cashier is also handling your utensils without gloves after he's done touching the screen , playing in his hair , and handling cash . That's cross contamination . They won't give you water to go cups as a policy. Otherwise, yeah, the food has been decent. The times I've gone there.
I place a phone order for food for pick up. I picked up my food and drove home and I opened it only to find out that my order for $26 dollars was not even worth it. I have order in the past from here and I have not had any problems until here recently. I know time are hard for everyone but skimping so bad on food is not going to fly with me.
