Love to stop in and get the steak bowl as a post workout meal, good protein and carbs. The staff friendly, restaurant is clean, and the food always taste good with fresh clean ingredients.
The food wasn't bad but way overpriced. The real downside is the lack of options. Oh, and the folks working here seem like they'd rather be doing anything else. But in a pinch if you want to spend $20 on a wrap this place will do.
Good food and good portions, but giving three stars because I had a piece of plastic in one of my chicken souvlaki pieces. I hope it was a piece of skewer, but I haven't seen plastic skewer sticks before. I think my chicken was fully cooked but would be more comfortable it was cooked longer so that I don't have to question it. I've only had the bowls and fries. dined in and the fries came out like it was pre made wasn't served hot just cold room temperature like in n out fries if you took them to go for later...
I always order my usual, a chicken gyro bowl. I usually order from pinole or concord. Today, I was in the area so I stopped by this location to get a chicken gyro bowl. The chicken was hard and tasted old along with the rice. It was soo hard. So gross! won't be coming back to this location!
After experiencing The Real in GREECE, this is nothing like that experience. It's too bad because the food in Greece was a 10/10.
At 3 PM today, I picked up some Greek fries, my daughter's favorite, but they were cold and soggy, as if they had been sitting out for a while. Every other time, they have been fresh. Next time, I'll take a sample before I leave.
Do not order from here after 5pm. They will skimp you on everything because they are too lazy to make more ingredients. Serve you old lettuce that's been hanging out all day. Compare your food from when they first open to closing. Terrible. Only worth the $ if you go early.
This place is great some days and terrible others! One time I ordered months ago, portion was terrible. The I ordered again 2-3 weeks ago, portion was great and food tasted good but they forgot sauce on my nick fries.. I ate them dry. This time, portion was HORRIBLE! it was worse than before and 70% of the "chicken" in my bowl was all chewy fat. Terrible. I don't know if I should keep supporting this place hoping for a "good" day or stop because it's so bad at times.
