The food was AWESOME. I'm not sure what all they season their fries with but it's heaven. I've been trying to replicate it at home. I can get close but not exact.
I got the Nick Fries and they were delicious!! They sat well in my stomach and filled me up the majority of the day. They had the perfect amount of garlic flavor to it (if you like garlic) I got them with chicken but I have tried the Falafel here before and that was too dry for my liking. The baklava was amazing but I would give it a 4/5 because it was too drenched at the bottom . I sat in the restaurant to eat and the same song kept playing on repeat. The ambiance may need more work. Overall these Nick Fries will have me co... read more
I love this place. My go to for Greek. They're really fast and are one of the only food places open late. The staff are nice and helpful. I always get the chicken souvlaki bowl and they nail it every time! Highly recommend!
I ordered the veggie pita for a quick dinner before going to see a concert nearby. I've gotten the veggie pita a number of times from various locations and it always hits the spot. Service was pretty standard. I ordered at the counter & waited for my food. I did ask for no red onions in my pita, which they forgot to do. Not a huge deal as I picked out what I didn't want to eat. There was plenty of seating available, inside and out while I was eating. It was a nice day, so I ate outside.
A little expensive but my gyro was packed with juicy hot meat. Fries in the gyro were odd but it didn't bother me much, food came out in a matter of minutes but it took 20 minutes for my friends burger to arrive. Clean inside and the bathroom wasn't too nasty, refillable cup always a plus.
A simple but tasty Greek eat in/take out joint is open till 11:00p.m. and, if you are a vegetarian, their veggie options are very tasty. It is centrally located downtown and orders a great alternative to Eric's Deli or Subway and is comparably priced.
I mean, it's alright. I received much better food and service at Achilles in Midtown.
Food delicious, I didn't know what to order but the lady at the register was really helpful and explained the menu than she jumped back in the kitchen and got my food ready l, i asked for her name she said Sol! I got a beef lamb giro with the greek fries very tasty, fries nice and warm, definitely coming back here
Overall, I had a good visit to Nick The Greek. It was open late, so it was a nice break from the pizza and Mexican restaurants open at the same time. I ordered a lamb gyro meal which came with fries and a drink for $17.43 after tax. It seemed a little expensive, so I had high hopes. The gyro was filled with lamb, tomatoes, onions, French fries, and tzatziki. The lamb and was hot, seasoned well, and delicious. The tomatoes, onions, tzatziki were cool, creamy, and refreshing. The French fries seemed a little out of pl... read more
