Came for the Mediterranean bowl, stayed for the fries! A full order of Greek fries, to be exact. It was a generous mound of fries, cheese, and toppings, and we inhaled it. Everything we had was good, and made even better with those fries. LOL get the fries.
The food here is better than I expected, given it's a chain. The tahini crunch salad is super good, with fresh cucumber, cherry tomato, pickled onions, crunchy chick peas, tahini dressing and hummus. I subbed the kale out, and added romaine lettuce instead (I hate kale). I crave tahini a lot, and this salad is tasty, healthy and filling enough that I'll add it to my DoorDash rotation. Always decent food, open late. Side of fries should be an option with a combo though. On that note $4.50 for a side of fries is pretty high. Service is always good.

The first time I came into nick the Greek I wasn't entirely sure what to expect, but ordering the gyro wrap, I enjoyed the exotic flavors and spices. The workers were very kind with handling my order and I received my food within a timely manner. I would definitely recommend coming into this place if you're in the downtown Santa Cruz district.
Love this place! Chicken souvlaki...FIRE! Carlis is the goat! Great service! Love the fries. Inside is always clean and airy! What more could you ask for!

Food is incredible, great atmosphere, amazing service. I love coming here! I always get the gyro lamb bowl and it's amazing.
