Amazing food! Best Mediterranean food i've had in the U.S.! Really friendly staff and really nice place :)

Thank you, Tyler. Look forward to serving you again! Zoee & George
My wife and I like gyros so we had to give nick's a try. We both ordered the lamb/beef gyro combo. I got fries and my wife a side salad. We both enjoyed them and the counter service was friendly. They kept the taps from blast805 and blast has its own employees that handle them. Interesting partnership. That's why there still is a blast805 sign out front.

Super fresh food, friendly service, very filling and super delicious! Excited to have this fast casual restaurant on Higuera!!
Everything was superb. Had the pork belly gyro and pork belly bowl. Both were good portion size and the prices are very reasonable, so much so will probably never visit another Petra bowl again if Nicks can keep it consistent. Flavors were well balanced and I'd say the bowl was probably the preference with feta and the rice was great! We tried all the sauces and while they were decent, I would say Petra has the sauce game beat. Really the only negative from our experience on the first try. Highly recommend. We got the chicken bowl and lamb bowl. I would say overall it's just alright. Rice was just fine, salad was fresh, meat was the best part but could use tiny bit more salt. The sauces were lacking something, aside from sour greek yogurt flavor there wasn't much to it which if that's what its supposed to be then great but when you eat everything together its missing something. For the price i wouldn't order another bowl but it was pretty good for SLO prices and portions. I'd like to try other stuff but for now it's not really ... read more

Hi Eileen, Sorry to hear about your experience. We strive to do our very best,. we understand that we can not satisfy everyone's taste....we hope to see you soon. Zoee & George
The food was great. Beef/lamb tender and tasty gyro w/ rice and salad. People were upbeat, but it's the first day. The place was clean and service was quick. Portions are too small for the price though. It's not a school lunch so the portions could meet the price.

Hi Shirley, Thank you for your comment and suggestions. We really take all comments as constructive, and look to improve anywhere we can. Look forward to serving you again. Zoee & George
I had the lamb/beef gyro and it was amazing. The pita was such a great texture, unlike any I've had in a gyro before. The flavors inside the gyro were also incredible. Best place for a gyro in SLO.

Eric, Thank sir, Look forward to serving you again. Zoee & George
This food is easily the best Greek find in SLO! Left the grand opening already wanting more and the service was amazing! The Chicken Souvlaki plate was everything I could've hoped for and more with delicious rice! Can't wait to come back to this fun establishment.
We were so excited to see this place go in! We've missed Greek food so much since moving from So Cal years ago. My daughter and I both had the chicken bowl. Sooo much rice, very little cucumber (about 5 or six small chunks, very fine crumbles of feta, and some lettuce but seemed lacking. The sauce was awesome on it however. Oh and the chicken was weird shavings (shawarma sort of). But not great portions. My husband had a gyro with no onion. He said it was also lacking something. Cucumber? We will definitely try it again, sin... read more
