I had the gyro plate for dinner. I found the gryo sliced to thin and it need more flavor. The tzaztiki sauce did help by added a smooth yogurt flavor. Though the salad was dressed heavy, I did enjoy it. Next time I think I will try the pita pork souvlaki to see how it is.

The location of this place is near the Embarcadero BART so it's easy to grab something on the way home for dinner. Food is decent. I had ordered a plate of beef/lamb gyro and a plate of chicken souvlaki. Both were good. The chick was slightly dry but not bad. The greek salad that came with the meal had too much onions though.

Delicious Greek fare, well-priced, and clean & spacious dining area. I ordered the pork souvlaki gyro which hit the spot. Thick warm pita, tender & flavorful pork, drenched in tzatziki. The kitchen can be heavy with the tzatziki dosing unless you specify less sauce. A little heavy for lunch overall but would definitely recommend for a grab and go Weekday dinner.

I'm not a big fan of Greek foods, but this place was really good. Both my wife and I liked it. Initially, I wasn't too interested in eating here but after eating here , sure I'm gonna come back. The size of the gyro is decent actually more than decent. Everything we ate here, including salad was fresh. The ambiance and the service were excellent and we liked the music and the songs in Greek. we enjoyed the music so much we didn't want to leave

This is my favorite beef/lamb gyro in all of San Francisco. If I'm craving a gyro I only come here. It took many disappointments across the years before I found this place, so believe me when I say it's good. I should have taken a picture of it last night but I inhaled it before I could even think--It's that good. When I get delivery I take the fries off and reheat them in my toaster oven to crisp them back up. So for the people getting delivery, complaining about cold fries, you're welcome. The meat portion is generous and ... read more

My honest review of this place is based off of one visit 10 minutes prior to closing. I'm giving it 3 stars for a few reasons. Firstly, as soon as I walked in I was greeted respectfully. I asked what time they closed they said 10 minutes but it was fine and even asked if i wanted to eat in or take it to go. Excellent customer service experience off the rip. It was one of the only places open in the area at the time. It was clean. Food was quick. Now to the food. The fries were stole cold and just plain nasty. I ordered the... read more

Ordered through door dash. Food was okay. The mustard sauce was interesting but it added a different flavor profile to the gyro.

I first tried Nick the Greek in Sacramento and I am so glad they've come to SF. Best gyros ever! I've tried so many gyros (pita bread, not lavash bread) in SF and I really think Nick the Greek's are the best. Reminds me of the quick to-go gyros you can order in Athens. Yes, it does come with a lot of tzatziki which I love, but if you'd like a dryer gyro, just specify that. The falafel and salad with the big hunk of feta are also delicious and authentic!
