I stopped into Nick the Greek in downtown San Francisco and honestly just had a really good, easy experience. I went with the beef/lamb gyro, and it came out pretty quick, nice and hot. The pita was soft, the meat was flavorful without being overpowering, and the tzatziki tied everything together really well. I liked that they throw fries in there too--it gave it a little crunch and made it more filling than I expected. Everything tasted fresh, and it just hit the spot after walking around the city. chicken gyro pita was packed with meat and the fries inside were still crispy. tzatziki was on point. small spot but the food is legit.
