Delicious! Not sure if it's the outstanding service, the timeliness, the fun location or the actual food but it's an absolute pleasure eating here and better than other nick the Greeks.
Soooooo good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Walking around downtown Ventura to shop but we got hungry and wanted something quick. I decided to get a snack first and went here for an order of fries. They were seasoned perfectly so we decided to go back for lunch. Well, we had a gyro bowl, chicken souvlaki plate and kids plate. All were finished very quickly because it was yummy! We will return!! I am leery about Greek franchises but this is a good one. Simple menu, great customer service and decent prices! Thanks Nick the Greek, we wil... read more
The food was great, we got the beef and lamb gyro and falafel, I'll be eating here often from now on. Hearty food that is also very CLEAN eating. As a local, I support how the owner refused the overreach of tyranny in california to stay open and serve his community and that's why I tried the food, and now the food has me totally hooked. Saving the other half of my gyro for a midnight snack (this thing is huge).
Friendly staff. Easy ordering. I got the frozen green yogurt. It was about $5 and huge!!! I could have easily shared with 2 people. Great deal and filling. I also ordered the falafel bowl. I love falafels so I was really looking forward to it. I agree with others that it was dry and somewhat dense. There were crunchy bits/texture I didn't care for or have experienced in other falafels. I would not order the falafel again but would go back for the yogurt and to try other things.
The food here was so good. my first time trying greek food! Alia was very attentive and kind when taking my order. She made me and my family feel very welcome. Will definitely be coming back when I go downtown
Ordered the beef & lamb gyro pita and pork souvlaki pita. The beef & lamb was good and an ok size for the price point (about the size of a hot dog in a bun), but the pork souvlaki was basically a small strip of meat with sauce and the other fillings shown in the description.
My second time going here today. I ordered the Falafel Pita and nick's fries! It was great both times I went. The food is so flavorful and always fresh and hot. I will be going back, will also tell friends and family how great it is!
the gyros, nick fries, and frozen yogurt w baklava and honey are all to die for. i love this restaurant. the service is also so good and the owner is exceptionally nice. 10/10!
This place was really good. I got the bowl with half beef/ lamb and half chicken. Normally my fear with Greek places is that they overcook the meat or don't put in enough sauce. This was not the case here. Very friendly staff and delicious food, what is not to love.
