We were so excited to see Nick the Greek open within the area. We walked in and was greeted immediately for their staff. I asked what they recommended and they said the greek fries. We got their gyro plate and their gyro. I personally liked the plate more than the gyro itself. The gyro to me felt like it was too salty, or maybe needed extra sauce. Although, the plate's meat was just right. Nonetheless, very excited they are near by. I will definitely be back.

I have not previously been to a Nick the Greek, despite the franchise having many, many locations. We tried the following items: Gyro Plate, Chicken Gyro (combo with Greek Fries). The Chicken Gyro was a good size portion for me, there is a TON of sauce on the gyro though. The Greek fries with the combo were tasty with the topping of feta, garlic, and green onions. We first tried this in San Diego. I wasn't thrilled. We decided to try it last week and I still feel the same. I love gryos, but they are too bland here. I question the authenticity of the beef and pork. There is another place on Laguna Blvd that is more authentic. The Greek salad needs help as well. Greek dress would be good to use

Visited this place last week for dinner. For starters, the interior is clean and welcoming. The decor is modern, and there is a small outdoor patio. I ordered the souvlaki chicken and a Greek salad. Both were pretty good but neither was what I expected. The Greek salad had cucumber, tomato, black olives, red onion, and a large wedge of feta l. We were going to come here on their opening day for their free lunch, but there was such a long line! Now that they've been open for a couple weeks, we decided to come back. Upon walking in, the restaurant is so pretty--modern and clean. Lots of people dining inside and outside on the patio. The patio seating also has some umbrellas for shade. Amazing food and even better customer service! I showed up to pick up my Uber eats order WAY later than anticipated and they were throwing away the food since I took so long. I felt terrible but they remade everything because they wanted me to eat it fresh and hot. Totally my fault but they were amazing. Chicken was incredible and the rice so flavorful! Don't forget the fries and falafel. We will definitely be back!

Wanted a quick bite to eat so I'm having Nick the Greek for the first time today. EAT HERE!!! You won't be disappointed. It's DELICIOUSSSSSS . BESTTTT GYRO PLACE EVAAAA. (Ok that's my opinion but it's pretty darn tasty & cured my greeK food cravings). It's clean, inviting and not understaffed. I will definitely be back.

I would highly recommend the beef gyro bowl! Not only does Nick the Greek serve big portions, but the service is fast and the food is delicious. The pork belly was tasty as well, but I typically eat pork belly cooked a different way, so I was not as used to it. Nick's fries with chicken was also huuuge and is great for sharing among multiple people! I did find it a tad dry though, so I asked for more sauce which they provided to us.
