I wanted to try Nick The Greek in Elk Grove from when they were open for business. I did a few days ago. They're great! The menu is straightforward. Easy to understand. I always think this is the best for the restaurants and the best for the customers. Some restaurants want to sell everything. They have hundreds of items on their menu. Great food and even better customer service. I ordered a Chicken Gyro combo with a side salad. The pita was cooked to perfection, the meat was juicy & don't even get me started on the mustard. I cannot wait to go back!
We ordered online. My daughter was already in the area. They said 10 min it would be ready. She was there in 5. It was sitting on the counter already. We live less than 5 min from there. When she got here the food was cold. Not even a little bit warm. Cold. We had one beef/lamb pita and one pork belly pita. Asked for fries on the side instead of inside the sandwich. Went for late dinner, about 8 pm. Cashier was very nice, ordered two pork belly bowls...they were delicious. Especially liked the salad part of the bowl.

Busy! Smells good! Lots of seating. Pepsi products! This was a delicious lunch. We got beef/lamb gyro plate and the mixed plate with both beef/lamb and pork belly. One with rice and the other with fries. Both came with side salad and pita wedges. The flavor was fantastic and the portions were large. Next time I am trying the bowl!

I picked up a Beef/Lamb Gyro Meat plate. So much food!! I added a side of Chicken Souvlaki Skewers. Delicious! delicious fries! salad was good but i missed the feta... and only received one Kalamata Olive. it would have been better to have sliced or quartered even halved the olive to blend with the salad. oh and very little tzatziki sauce. :(. it was delicious. but i had to choose and use sparingly. i gave my left overs to my daughter and she responded, what no Tzatziki? Nope momma ate it all

I ordered the chicken gyro pita & my cousin ordered the pork gyro pita with a side of fries, both were delicious! I also tried the baklava, it was yummy. I definitely would go back to try other items on the menu. Service was good, & we got our meals within 20 minutes of ordering. They have great indoor & outside seating.
