I went to greece last year. Went to naxos and athens. Ate the food and fell in love!!!!! Came back to california and was disappointed with the imitation greek food. Nick the greek opened next to my work and gave it a try out of desperation. Let me tell you i went back ro greece the food is absolutely amazing. All that was missing is the ice cold mythos
The food was nasty got little sick over it...never again I asked for extra sauce... it was overpriced the fries were soggy as hell..no sauce
I ate at the one in Laguna Niguel and it was fantastic Beef & Lamb Gyro!!! so I thought I would give this one a try. I tried the chicken Gyro and it was not good at all and would never get it again. The fries were cold and super super seasoned and way too salty... I tried hummus for the first time and it tasted like I made it at home which is not that great and mediocre at best! Hopefully when I come back and try the beef and lamb Gyro I can upgrade my review but until then thumbs down!!!! I will come back and try the regu... read more
Overall the pita was great but how does this count as a "side" of fires. I had about 5 skinny sticks ...
Came here to see the hype but the chicken and steak was under whelming. Seasoning consisted of very little salt and pepper, I figured with the prices they wouldn't sting out on the seasoning. If you come I'd get the gyro wraps the sauces makeup for the flavorless meat. The rice carried the plate and was the only item that seemed to be seasoned good. Save your money and go to a more authentic Greek establishment. Donuts are covered in oil and filled with artificially sweetened chocolate.
The chicken gyro bowl was really underwhelming, and the beef pita wrap was surprisingly small. For the price, I'd honestly rather grab a burrito at Chipotle and at least feel full. The portions here just didn't justify the cost. The chicken in the bowl was extremely dry- I was basically eating tough, crispy pieces the whole time. Overall, a disappointing experience, and not somewhere I'd EVER return.
Mediocre at best. Wouldn't go back. Drove 15 mins to try this place as you can see in the pic doesn't look that great and was edible at best
Had to try to it we got a beef/lamb and a chicken pita. Mine had a hair it in so I got grossed out. The fries could have been alittle more cooked. The sauces needs a little flavor it jist tasted ok. Nothing special sorry to say it looked better then it was the lettuce was also soggy on the chicken one.
Tried Nick the Greek yesterday and wasn't impressed. The dining area was dirty, seating was limited, and an employee was taking up a table with people who weren't even eating. For the price, the food didn't feel worth it. Probably wouldn't come back.
