I visited Nick The Greek for their grand opening and had their Chicken Souvlaki with Rice and a fountain drink. Being their grand opening day and having to accommodate many orders, they were unable to accommodate an extra order of fries and a few other dine-in options - volume versus variety - understood. Service was rather quick, and the staff were friendly, directing traffic so that it didn't crowd around restaurants. The staff also explained and recommended menu options. Delicious, fast, fresh Greek food. We came for the Grand Opening - free lunch! Small, clean, bright, modern space. Super friendly managers greeted us and described the menu choices. We chose a chicken souvlaki (meat on skewers) plate and a falafel plate. Delicious meat and falafel, as were the rice, fries, pita, greek salad and tzatziki, all fresh and flavorful. Loved the tomato and red onion garnish to mix with the fries. Greek fro-yo samples were good. Highly recommended!
Tried Nick's since it's walking distance from us. Service is good, although they should teach the front staff the correct pronunciation of the word, "Gyro". It is yee-roh, not jy-roh. We ordered two gyros, one regular fries and one Nick's fries. We received the gyros fast but had to wait an additional 10 minutes for the fries, resulting in a cool gyro. 8/26/2025 - Congratulations on opening this new location as a chain restaurant inside of a plaza. The store is clean and ambience is casual. The baklava is excellent - 5 stars. The Froyo is 4.5 stars. Combination Souvlaki $19.75 is 4 stars. Gyro Bowl $13.25 has a very good value, which is a little bit salty to me when eating with a sauce. Staff are friendly, and a free parking lot is available in front of the restaurant.
Falafel was dry, over fried. Cucumber were too big, rough chop. I would prefer the chunk cut in half. They forgot my Baklava, even after I told the guy my order when he asked me. I'll try another spot next time I get a Mediterranean craving.
Worst location ever! After waiting 35 min for my food to come, they forgot the Tzatziki sauce! I ordered 3 bowls and 2 gyro sandwiches and paid over $60 to only get everything plain. Ridiculous! I went out of my way to the location and had my food get cold to only wait longer to get the Sauces they charged me for that the employee could have just handed it to me. Kind staff but sadly the food itself was so bad. The meat was very undercooked and made my team fall ill from food poisoning.
UNSAFE PLACE: First time dining here. We came from San Bernardino and chose this place for a quiet family dinner after a long day at Universal Studios. Unfortunately, the experience was very uncomfortable and unsafe. A woman inside the restaurant repeatedly approached our table, talked to herself, and threw coins and money onto our table while trying to interact with my child.
