Had a great experience at their opening day event! Arrived about 10 minutes before the event began and the line to get in was already down the block. I waited about 40 minutes to get but it went by fairly quickly with free frozen Greek yogurt samples and a DJ. Once inside the food was quickly prepared. I got the chicken gyro bowl. The serving size was huge and it was loaded with flavor. My first time eating at Nicks but will definitely be back!
I ordered from UberEat and I chose no rice extra lettuce tomato and cucumber beef gyro and this is what I got!
When I got home I discovered they had screwed up my order, despite that I'd told them twice what I wanted, and they charged me for it. Management showed no interest in doing anything about it.
I'm a big fan of Nick the Greek and while my food was good at this location, the people working there were not. The music was already louder than necessary when I arrived, but as I sat there it was raised again to a level you would expect to hear at a bar. After we asked it to be turned down, they proceeded to turn down the music for about 2 minutes, then turned it back up to an even louder level forcing us to seat outside to be able to hear ourselves speak. Tried this location twice. They give stale, cold fries. So nasty. The other items are ok
The food is great, but staff is very rude and unhelpful at the Palo Alto location I could hear them talking bad about me after I asked for another sauce after already paying for one.
Undercooked falafels! you'll can't get that basic item right on the first few weeks of starting up? Definitely not going back.
