Just ordered the pistachio cream and omg it was great and amazing. Just a bit too sweet for my taste buds but then my kids enjoyed it a lot and kept saying to go back and eat again. I consider it a win.
I'm so excited Nicks finally opened in Palo Alto. I ordered the chicken gyro. It has a mustard sauce and onion. So I requested no onions ( they make me sick) and to substitute the mustard for tzatziki. When I have traveled to Greece this is how they make it. Well, it was absolutely delicious! Excellent food and service, while trying to serve during a really huge food rush. Special recognition to the manager who came in to save the day. The restaurant was overwhelmed with over 150 customers coming from the Coldplay concert at Stanford. She, the manager, came to conduct inventory and found the restaurant staff overrun with orders. The manager stepped in (while she was also caring for her baby), and helped organize the food delivery.
