I love Nick The Greek!!! I come here often, and their ingredients are always consistently fresh and satisfying. I get something different every time, from the falafel and side salad to the sauvlaki platter to the seasoned fries and the Greek fries - I'm always pleased with the food. Also, the service is great! Nice downtown spot for fast casual Greek food! I was greeted upon arrival and when I shared that I had never been to this restaurant Kierra the sweet counter person told me the most popular item was the beef/lamb protein option. I asked about the vegan options and placed my order. Once my to go order was ready Kierra brought it out to me. While I was waiting I went to wash my hands. Finally, Downtown Phoenix has a Greek restaurant nearby. If only I had cravings for Mediterranean when Nick the Greek first opened up a couple months ago. But on this most recent visit, my friend was craving anything from here and it gave me an opportunity to come try them out for the first time. The chicken gyro is a nice lighter alternative for summer. Chicken gyro meat has crispy edges. Chicken has strong notes of lemon and garlic. There is an option for spicy yogurt dip. The spicy yogurt dip is both refreshing and spicy at the same time. I am not a fan of cucumbers, but the spices in the spicy dip masked their flavors. Order for here or to go. This was my first time trying food from this establishment and I can say that the food and service was exceptional. The wait was about 15 mins but so worth it because the food was fresh, flavorful, and authentic. This place is my new go to when in the area!

Surprised about the negative reviews. I've been here twice. The food is fantastic. The wait was minimal less than 5 min on a busy lunch time service. The chicken gyro bowl is a great value at 12.50. Excellent flavor and fresh chicken not prepackaged. Fresh chunks of veggies. My friend got the Greek fries, awesome seasoning on them. The staff is very friendly. I hope more people give it a try. It's a great option other than chipotle. I can't wait to try more from here.

Excellent food!! The beef/lamb gyro is so delicious, but my personal favorite is the chicken gyro bowl, which is so fresh and yummy with a large serving. Also had the BEST service! The best gyro spot I've visited in Arizona! I'll definitely be back

The food here is phenomenal. I loved the food so much that while I was on vacation it was my go to when ordering takeout. I really recommend this place.
