Our first time at "Nick the Greek," originally founded by three Tsigaris cousins (Big Nick, Little Nick, and Baby Nick), hence the name. This fast-casual restaurant serves authentic Greek street food. Customers can build their own bowls and dishes with a variety of fresh ingredients and proteins, including beef, chicken, falafel, and traditional pork. We both tried the beef/lamb gyro combo. I had mine with Greek fries, and Shanda selected the Greek salad. The gyro meat was so flavorful; it really stood out. I enjoyed the Gre... read more
What a pleasant surprise out of a chain place! In the heart of the entertainment district - this is a less guilty option. The ingredients were made fresh (no scooping out of a pan that's been sitting!) and have a great value. The plates come with a large side salad with good toppings. The Mediterranean bowl was the perfect mix of rice and kale base. Steak isn't an up-charge either. I will definitely be back! Photos didn't happen because immediate consumption was a priority
The amount of times I get Nick the Greek during my workday lunch breaks is insane! One of the best Greek food chains in Valley! I love their Chicken soulvaki pita and bowl ! The bowls are so filling and of incredible quality. I always order in advance for a pick up as they get quite busy. Always of top quality and service is great. Ambience is modern, fast paced
Fah-fah, fah-fah-falafel! Nick the Greek was a great spot to grab a quick bite to eat while in town for a conference. Located just a couple of blocks away from the Phoenix Convention Center, the fast casual restaurant is a great spot for dine in or takeout and stays open until 9pm. The menu has many different sides, bowls and sandwiches that can be customized with preferred protein and ingredients. I went with the Mediterranean bowl with falafel and the falafels were freshly prepared with a crispy exterior and soft inside, a... read more
Site near a work site. Im not sure if the food was good or if I was just starving. I got some sort of combination platter with steak and chicken. The chicken reminded me of Tyson's frozen chicken patty's.. didn't seem real, the steak was ok. The one thing I really liked was the rice! I also got a baklava which wasn't bad. This place was crazy pricey! Service was speedy, so we weren't sitting around too long waiting. I recommend everyone try everywhere once, but for the price I won't be returning
I work across the street and this place is a staple of my offices diet for a reason. The food is awesome, the service is super quick, respectful, fun to be around which is rare for a place you're just grabbing food from. It's quick, quality, and very fair priced.
I attended this location with a group of students. We had about 20-30 minute wait. The food was good but the price was a bit crazy. I put in an order for $80 and asked for sauce for my gyro and they asked me to pay the extra .50 and do another charge on my card, seemed a bit werid. Nothing was wiped down in the seating area either. The best part was the hummus and pita for sure!
Service was fast and place was clean. Food was delicious with big portions! I loved the falafels they were very tasty.
I had the Mediterranean Steak Bowl for $15.25. It was very delicious. The meat was very tender. The service was very fast. Cashier offered me a cup of water to drink while I waited for my order. Would definitely recommend.
