I will drive all the way to zankou to avoid this place. They're thrifty and their meat is cheap scrambled together to cut corners. Cheap salad bland cafeteria food for bottom of the barrel meats. Zankou in Lakewood is soo freshflavoful and have generous portions. Bring back the bakery that used to be here, I don't see nicks Greek staying here on 2nd very long.
39.08$ for a gyro bowl and a gyro plate and a 30 minute wait for the food, which for what I got, is a total joke. Absolutely awful and floppy soggy fries. Cold food, minuscule portion, with barely any chicken. Not affordable, not convenient, and embarrassing food.
Ferociously MID!!!!! Man! Do you ever have a craving, and while you're eating, it just is not hitting ?! oh and walking out he really regret spending that $20? Chicken Gyro: first of all. There was a lot of flavor lacking. Like I wish I had salt and pepper, or literally anything to add flavor. Second, they were something off with the texture. So much so that I kept looking at the chicken to see if it was even cooked. Salad: the dressing was good. The portion was good. Holy smokes. I'm telling you, it really should be cal... read more
I'm so tired of restaurants that make you tip when you use a credit card at the counter. Nick the Greek gives you three choices, 20%, 21% or 22%. Or you can leave no tip. So you can look like a total cheap skate or tip 20% for no table service. So I guess from now on I'm giving "No tip".
Cold and flavourless I don't think I can write much else I get that this is more fast food than a restaurant but I expected much better
I thought 'yes' I love Greek food. so my husband and I thought we would try this new restaurant on 2nd street. it is a nice basic place. I ordered the chicken gyro plate with fries. one forkful of the chicken it was so dry and gross I couldnt eat it. the fries were limp and cold. I took my food back immediately and the girl said sorry. No refund, nothing. Caroline M
if you're in Belmont Shore and want Greek food, go to George's. This was so disappointing and not worth the money at all
The staff was terrible. The bathroom was dirty and the food gave me diarrhea. Never again
Food is subpar and service is incredibly slow for a fast food joint. The ambiance of the place is the only saving grace, minus the number of flies in the place. You are better off getting Greek food at George's.
