I discovered Nick the Greek in San Jose and instantly became a fan so when I learned the Long Beach location was open, I had to visit. The food taste just as good as the San Jose location. The staff is nice. Restaurant is clean and spacious. I've visited twice so far and I will continue to go back. Be sure to get the greek fries yumm yumm

Like literally 5 fries on the side with Gyro sandwiches!! Cold and stale. Maybe we just ordered the wrong thing. Very very small portions. Plan to order double portions or going to McDonald's after!

Too bad I gave this place a shot. Went in on a whim and placed a to-go dinner order on Wednesday evening; two guys were working behind the counter. The younger one was so polite, prompt, and respectful. The older man with glasses was... not. I asked if I could come back to pick it up, and he made some snarky comment / "joke" that was totally unnecessary. ** update** received a note from the restaurant (photo attached) about refunding me and I responded accordingly. No response from them after that. Terrible restaurant!! The food was completely cold and the froyo was melted. The chicken screw was so thin and had NO flavor. $6 for that!!!??? Mega rip off!!! The chicken falafel tasted disgusting. Nicks is not good its over priced they mix lam meat with beef. So if you dont like lam dont eat here small portions over priced of course miserable boomers working the front counter, the same ones all the time.Sixty five year old boomer,woman sitting in the back, watching everyone that walks in the door half bald, miserable boomer pr*ck working the counter.will never come here again place is always empty.

note if you order chicken it will be dark meat only per the owner. no other greek restaurant i go to does this. also, i took back my chicken and said it needed cooked more. the owner said no it doesn't it is cooked. i eat out a lot and will never come back here!

I ordered two Gyro Bowls in January 19, 2025 of this year while I was at work I ordered throughthe Uber app.. Man let me tell ya.... when I got home I felt so sick with nausea and body aches. I had to go to hospital the next day and they confirmed I had food poisoning. I tried to contact Nick the Greek through their website but they never responded. I stayed sick for 3 days so I will never eat here again. If you do order...maybe you want to go in person or something because food poisoning is a terrible feeling. I wouldn't ... read more

My first & last time to this newly opened gyro spot in my neighborhood ! Tasteless beef & lamb combo meats , Over priced for small portion of protein ! In my opinion ARBY'S Greek gyro sandwich is much tastier & much better value ! Only thing this spot can beat ARBY'S the quality of container and to go bag ... Plenty place to park a 2 wheel ride.. I hate to write negative reviews .

Food portions were lacking. Barely any protein in my platter for $19.00. No pita, limited rice. Will go to George's Greek down the street or Halal guys.
